A racist rant by a black woman against a pregnant muslim woman in London. ::)

Footage showing a woman's anti-Muslim tirade on a London bus has prompted a discussion about the fact that the abusive woman is black.
The video was filmed on a bus in north-west London and uploaded to Facebook on Wednesday. It starts with a woman in the middle of a rant. She's shouting and swearing at a pregnant Muslim woman, and threatening to kick her in the stomach.
The abusive woman goes on to lob several insults, calling the other woman an Islamic State supporter, a suicide bomber and saying: "go back to your country." At one point the bus driver stops the bus and tries to calm the woman down - to no avail. When the bus starts up again the confrontation escalates.
"She's going on like she's English herself. Go back to your country and we will go back to ours," commented one user from a Muslim background. "Wasn't a white women this time, turns out people from other races have a nasty racist streak in them," commented another user.

What is happening in this country, Sriram, is totally beyond belief. The Politically Korrect mob has enforced yet another imported, foreign, alien, culturally abhorrent practice on us. At this time of year we have our own, traditional, much loved tradition but it has been totally submerged by this nasty American import - Halloween.
It has totally taken over from Diwali.

A woman has been arrested for racist abuse.
We have been fed a narrative by the media that only white people can be racist. Is this true and was this incident more about prejudice? Also there is no indication what triggered this woman off as the video starts some time afterwards possibly? Having travelled on buses in London for a considerable number of years I have witnessed these incidents in the past whether trigger is racism, prejudice etc and most people put these down to living amongst nutters and carry on with their business.

I think it made the news not because the woman was black but because it was filmed, while most other racist rants on buses aren't.

Muslims are not a racial group so this unpleasant incident was more to do with prejudice rather then racism? It has become a prominent news story as it was filmed and the perpetrator is black and the victims were Muslim. There have been several of these videos recently with white women on public transport shouting racist obscenities at 'foreigners'.

An anti-Muslim rant, by definition, is not racism. Islam is not a race, Islam is a (poor) choice of philosphy. Atheism isn't a race, Christianity isn't a race, Shintoism isn't a race.
Was it discriminatory and vile, yes. Was it blatant prejudice, yes. What it wasn't, was racism.

Are second generation blacks, Asians and others not allowed to feel and think like the older inhabitants (whites)? If its their home they can also feel that new migrants are spoiling their lives! That's natural.

I used to work with a guy whose family came to the UK from Jamaica on the Empire Windrush; we worked in Southall and Kenny, the guy's name, was the most overt racist I have ever met.
He stated, when challenged that he and his family had enountered very little racism until people started arriving from Indisa and Pakistan. This is a sentiment that, IIRR, was first stated by a singer/comedian named Kenny Lynch.

The video has now been taken down - probably because it is now sub judice.
The woman has now been charged with causing racially aggravated harrassment and will be appearing in court on Monday.
So it seems that racially-intolerant behaviour from people other than white Anglo-Saxons is being taken seriously. That will seriously disappoint some people ... ::)

I am sure that I am not alone in thinking that this action, charging a woman, or a person, of colour with "causing racially aggravated harrassment" has been far too long in coming?
Although I do wonder if the woman would have been charged had the target of her verbal abuse had been some "honkey" instead of a Muslim?

Experience! Being abused for being white is not uncommon and trying to get someone charged, over the last ten years, has been totally worthless effort.

Seems odd, as it is contrary to most reports where it seems the police are only to happy to charge any non-white person with anything, even if it is completely fatuous!

I have been abused, long and loud and unpleasant and complaints - the last one about five years ago - merely got me told to "grow a set and to stop being so sensitive".
I gave up bothering. These days I don't bother even listening.

Where did I mention race? As was pointed out earlier, you can't be racist against Muslims, they come in all races. You can be prejudice against a nationality you must agree. When you can't stand the people of a nation what are you? Perhaps if you were sitting on a rock Mr. Monkey.... (smilies)

Another extremely unpleasant incident recorded on a London bus. Perpetrator appears to be black and victim an old disabled Turkish man.
Not for the squeamish.
