That wearisome trope is a criticism of fundamentalist Muslims, not atheists.

Also taking into consideration the lack of floo-sie reply's proves the argument is correct period. And also links to the lack of Gays asking Muslims bakers to bake a wedding cake the bell rings for all, loud and clear cowards galore.

True. But the morals of the Humanist nullify it.

Seems like a perfect example of humanism in action to me, so you'll need to try to explain your opinion.

Wow. What utter, utter horseshit.
Let's start with the obvious difference between what's quoted as having been said, and the interpretation of that in the tagline:
"I know what keeps me from critiquing Islam on my blog is just fear. " vs
"An atheist professor said that it’s acceptable to criticize Christians but not Muslims"
That's either a colossal inability to read for understanding, or blatantly lying - possibly both, it's difficult to be sure.
Let us continue into this exploration of paranoia.
"In America, the secularists scream loudly anytime someone practices their Christian faith in public."
No, the complain when public money is used to support the Christian faith, or when the Christian faith is advocated or supported by state organisations without comparable representation of other groups. That's because it's illegal and contrary to the founding principles of the country - the fact that they keep winning in court cases shows that they have a point.
"Atheists feel safe around Christians; so much so they feel free to condemn the faith. However, when it comes to Muslims, atheists are scared to death to speak up for fear of reprisals and violence."
One atheist. Not atheists, one atheist - there are probably more, just as there are probably Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and gods-only-know what else-ists out there who are equally reticent about criticising the more overtly psychotic nutjobs out there. Self-preservation is an evolved trait.
At the same time, there are any number of atheists, Christians, Buddhist, Hindus and gods-only-know what else-ists out there who are more than happy to openly criticise the Islamic regimes: Bill Maher makes a living out of doing on his TV show, and I'd suggest more people would recognise him as an American atheist than would drag out the name of Phil Zuckerman, conveniently anonymous atheist of who-the-fuck knows, Washington.
Should I point out that this is an article that attempts the ludicrous fuckwittery of complaining that Christianity is under attack in the USA, whilst attacking one of the most unfairly maligned group in the USA - atheists - and yet manages to fail to condemn Islam or fundamentalism in any way whilst complaining about others doing the same.
It's almost as though it were written to pander to idiots to bathe gently in their confirmation bias while they recharge their holier-than-thou bullshit generators.
I could vomit on a page and it would be better informed and more balanced commentary than that steaming turd of an article.
Interesting read? No. Interesting that you saw fit to bring it to light, yes - it says much about you.

I wouldn't dignify their forum with my name or effort. It appears that it doesn't upset those who post crap all day, you seem to rather have seen it as some sort of victory.
Is the repeating of 'lies for Jesus' that you think is creditable, or do you really completely fail to see the hypocrisy, misrepresentation and just outright nonsense of the piece?
O.

Do many here really understand either Thrud's or ~TW~'s posts. I have to admit to generally ignoring them.
