What the Jewish people need to realise is that there is only one universe...Only one God...only one set of righteous laws...only one science connecting all these different aspects of the universe together and the name that is the highest authority...here on planet Earth, over all these different and many aspects of truth is...you've guessed it...Jesus Christ.
You are looking for your Messiah and here he is...a modern take on the same laws he already delivered to you and which many of you threw back into your God's face.

Is it any wonder that no-one Jewish posts on this Topic?
NM, if you expect people to have respect for your opinions and beliefs it would be rather nice if offered others respect for theirs.

What you have got to realise is that the Jews mostly disagree with you and there's no evidence that supports your case.

'What the Jewish people need to realise'? I think you missed the silent 'I'm not racist, but...' off the front of that.

See, I was thinking that the 'highest Jew' was probably the one that wrote Revelations, but now I'm wondering if you have any Semitic ancestry?

Don't you even consider, for a moment, that I am writing here out of love for the Jewish people...not the confusers and the derailers of OT truth but the genuine Jew who also has the power of resurrection within their eternal spirit.
The same could be said for the Muslim faith...but I am working in the order of priority...and really...it is the Christian world that needs saving as much as any of the others.
If not saved by faith then by the nuts and bolts behind that faith...but Jesus Christ will be theirs and your saviour in it all...or at least, those who are saved...and the state of the world today suggests we shouldn't leave it too long.

I don't question your intentions for a moment, just your grasp of reality and decorum.
The same could be said for the Muslim faith...
It could, and it would exactly the same combination of wrong, right for the wrong reasons and colossally arrogant.
but I am working in the order of priority...and really...it is the Christian world that needs saving as much as any of the others.
Saving from what?
If not saved by faith then by the nuts and bolts behind that faith...
You can keep the bolts, but I think we've had more than enough of the nuts from religion, lately.
but Jesus Christ will be theirs and your saviour in it all...or at least, those who are saved...and the state of the world today suggests we shouldn't leave it too long.
Well, given that in general the state of the world is on an upward trend, I'd say that if it was going to happen it would have done so by now.
O.

To the vast majority of Jews your Saviour Jesus Christ was no more than yet another prophet.
Your arrogance is truly blinding and your opinions not worth further comment.

The Highest Jew really should be the start of a joke (rather than the dismal dark stupidity of Sparky).
This is the best (adaptation) I can concoct.
A Jewish man decided to climb Ben Nevis as a suitable place to eat his Passover lunch.
A little while later a blind man climbed up and sat down next to him.
Feeling friendly, the Jewish man passed a sheet of matzo to the blind man.
The blind man ran his fingers over the matzo for a few minutes, looked puzzled, and finally exclaimed, "Who wrote this crap?"

Still in your frivolous, ridiculing, don't bother saving me mode and yet the whole world is being pulled this way and that way by uneducated, unethical, uncaring people, whose only skill is whipping up hysterical confusion by which even your world leaders are manipulated by...hmmm...I can wait...You see, the world is only going one way and when the world starts screaming out to Almighty God he will reply in terms even you lot can understand...
It will go something like this...I (Almighty God) will only save those who have shown appropriate righteous good order and for many of these it will be by resurrection...in the way Jesus Christ taught us.
Though most are in denial we have already seen much of the modern righteous strength Almighty God wields.

A Jewish father was very troubled by the way his son turned out and went to see his rabbi about it.
"Rabbi, I brought him up in the faith, gave him a very expensive Bar Mitzvah and it cost me a fortune to educate him. Then he tells me last week, he's decided to be a Christian. Rabbi, where did I go wrong?"
The rabbi strokes his beard and says, "Funny you should come to me. I too, brought up my son as a boy of faith, sent him to university and it cost me a fortune and then one day he comes to me and tells me he wants to be a Christian."
"What did you do?" asked the man of the rabbi.
"I turned to God for the answer," replied the rabbi.
"What did he say?" asked the man.
He said, "Funny you should come to me..."

SqueakyVoice:
Ahhh...I think I have worked out why no Jews contribute here. They have too much concern for their righteous health. It is probably why you are a little sparse on Christians too.
Not to worry...my main concern isn't to save you it is to ensure that you have been given the opportunity to be saved.
Every action and reaction requires the burning of our inner nervous strength. Every frivolous action of waste will nervously exhaust our nervous body and this has a serious effect on our genetic health...Your motive for the above tirade has probably cost you dearly...but there we go...you cannot see the power of your God ebbing away from you as you toss missiles and snares at those trying to help you but it is...and your loss of everlasting life will ensure other genetic discrepancies are sorely provoked...or at least that is what Jesus' righteous science is telling me.

Marvin and the Guru
Marvin was a deeply spiritual man, a seeker of truth. He went to synagogue every week for years, but eventually realized his soul needed more than Judaism could give him. He tried Buddhism, Christianity, a wide assortment of New Age religions, but he still felt spiritually empty.
One day, he heard about a great guru living atop the highest mountain in India who had all the answers. He sold all his worldly possessions, bid goodbye to his friends and family, and headed east. Once on the subcontinent, he learned that the guru would agree to see only one person a year and that person would be allowed to ask only one question. There were many other truth-seekers ahead of Marvin, so he had to wait nearly twenty years to see the great man. During that time, he lived in poverty, at the base of the mountain begging and doing menial tasks. When his turn finally came, he made the perilous journey up the snow-covered mountain, and waited for a week in the freezing cold in front of a cave, until the guru emerged.
"What is your question, my son?" the guru asked.
Marvin had been rehearsing this for years, and said, "Oh, wise one… What is the meaning of life?"
"Life, my son," said the guru ponderously, "is a deep well."
Marvin's jaw dropped open. He could not control his shock and anger. He screamed at the guru, "'Life is a deep well?' That's it? I've given up everything I owned, abandoned my friends and family, spent years living in abject poverty, even lost my toes to frostbite getting up here, and that's the best you can do? 'Life is a deep well?!'"
The guru looks at him quizzically. "What? You mean it isn't?"

I liked this one I pinched from somewhere ;D
Avram went into Church, took out his tallis, yarmulke, and proceeded to pray. The clergyman entered to start services: "Will all non-Christians please leave." Avram continued davening."
Again the clergyman said, "Will all non-Christians please leave."
And again, Avram prayed.
Finally, the distraught clergyman moved to Avram. "Will ALL JEWS please leave."
At this, Avram removed his yarmulke, packed up his tallis, then went to the altar, picked up a statue of Jesus and said, "Come bubbela they don't want us here anymore."

In which case my response is that the price that Almighty God (yours NOT mine) places upon my being saved or being resurrected is one that I will not pay! Regardless of the threatened consequences of my refusal.
Though most are in denial we have already seen much of the modern righteous strength Almighty God wields.
The only "righteous strength" that your "Almighty God wields" was unable to save those Christians who kept faith in the face of IS execution! And if you say they have been saved by being killed and "gathered unto God" he could have chosen a less unpleasant way for them to be saved.
Keep your blinkers on if you like NM, I discarded them fifty years ago and I think that it would be a good idea for the Moderators to create a "Proselytisation" Topic where you and your like can post your/their interminable nonsense without messing up more interesting threads with it.

I've heard this one in several different versions, some quite a lot longer, but it is still a classic!

Yep! Owlswng definitely has a bee in his bonnet about something. Something has made him bitter, quite clearly.
But yes, the Jews do need to convert for they are cut off, having rejected and put to death their own Lord and God. Neither circumcision nor the law can save them.
-

Perhaps he was justifiably offended by the arrogance of Sparky telling the Jewish people what they "need" to realise.

Speaking of obnoxious arrogance ...

Why? I thought he was a pagan not a Jew.

He is a pagan. So you can only be offended if you're a member of the group being attacked now? Racism doesn't bother you? Sexism? Ageism? Homophobia? Discrimination against the disabled?

I suppose one "can" but I don't see much point in it, if you ask me.

The point is that you can put your shoulder to the wheel and help do something for others.

Eh? Do what? Go around feeling self-righteous because you feel offend on someone else's behalf?
-

No - by doing something practical for anti-discrimination organisations.
-

What a shame...you are all behaving like a bunch of hooligans who have no God...and you can't see the simple fact that without a God you will simply act like a bunch of hooligans and that wont help your genetic health one iota. I don't need to bring forward any proof you have done that for me.
This puts the Jews on a higher level than you because Almighty God dislikes hooliganism intensely. Even so...with science, the Holy Bible, and Jesus Christ, breathing down our necks, never mind World War 3, I suppose you are all entitled to your last expressions of your impending plight.
Now I tried to help you so don't blame me, Jesus Christ or Almighty God when you realise you missed your last call...will you.
-

Again, eh? What's that got to do about believing the Jews need to convert?

Give it a rest, will yer! I don't know what weird sect you come from but it ain't Christian.
-
Give it a rest, will yer! I don't know what weird sect you come from but it ain't Christian.
My weird sect is the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ...as it is written...as he told us...and as it is prophesied...in your Holy Bible as well as mine.
Perhaps words like final Judgment...eternal life...great tribulations...the meek will inherit the Earth will spring to mind...well now is that time and all the signs are coming together to say just that...so, me...fool that I am...seeing how nervous distress and genetic health knit together, thought I might mention it to a few people because cancer and many more horrible illnesses are a direct result...not to mention the closed and terrible state of the human mind that leads to wars and reprisals and total devastation...See...even when you shout and scream abuse someone is trying to help you and even though it falls on deaf ears...So if you don't want God's righteous help I decided to offer it to the Jews.
I'm beginning to feel what Almighty God and Jesus Christ must feel like...but at least I tried.
-
Bollocks! You're either a Moonie, Mormon, Scientologist or some sort of mixture of all of them and some more. Therefore there is nothing "accurate" in your doctrine, nothing of the Holy Spirit or apostolic.
-

We will have to agree to disagree then ad-orientem...cus I have all the evidence I need...whilst you clearly have no idea about righteousness and how it can soothe and calm our genetics and bring new hope to the most distressed. I love it when someone who refuses help wants to damn well make sure it is denied anybody else that might...but that is another trick of righteousness...when the going gets tough...Almighty God and Jesus Christ are still there whilst the uncaring will run for the hills.
-
LOL! There is only one physician and one hospital and that is Christ and his Church. If whatever sect you belong to (I wish you would tell us all, I don't know why you keep it so close to your chest except that you yourself know it to be false) was not there from the beginning then it cannot be of Christ.

I was born a JEW! I count ancestors who died in Auschwitz and I do not need some half-arsed Christian telling me that I need saving by the Christian God whose Catholic followers aided and abetted the escape of some of those who perpetrated that horror!
-
I'm sure many pagans aided and abetted them too.

Don't be bloody sillier than you can help!
Paganism was virtually unknown until the 1950's when the revival started!
You Christians are really far too quick the try and share the responsibility for the barbarism of some sects of Christrianity which, by association, taint you all!

A Jew...great...it's you I'm saving here then Owlswing.
You must remember a number of things. First of all the Catholic church...though they might have some very nice people in their clutches it must be seen as an iniquitous religion. It doesn't take much analysis to know that within their administration are some very disturbed people. Their history is very questionable and when you look through righteous eyes...that is when you try to follow Jesus accurately...it can be seen without a shadow of a doubt. Do you think Almighty God sent himself to confuse the minds of the innocent by only teaching via the Latin language. and gather a huge fortune as he did it. No...Jesus Christ...God's son, brought Almighty God's righteous faith to any who would follow him and though some saw the truth in his teaching others saw a way to make a quick buck...just by feigning righteousness.
I have read many accounts of the Jewish Ghettoes and how they were treated in the concentration camps...In a nut shell they were treated as a human dynamo to keep an evil war machine going. I don't expect you to understand that but I do expect you to understand that this is the sort of evil that Jesus Christ and only Jesus Christ can guide us through, and remember, that resurrection was alive under those circumstances for the faithful, just as it was for Jesus and just as it is now...for us.
There is so much more.
-
So it is 23,000 years old? Consistency?
Don't you be silly either.
Before Christianity raised its ugly head everyone was pagan! For between 24 and 22,000 years.
It needed a revival because Christianity tried to wipe it out!

Deceiving people and twisting their thinking because people have a spiritual energy that needs to be expressed is as old as the hills. The ancient Egyptians found a use for it to keep a subservient people under their hoof...they didn't have to pay them just sacrifice a few of them now and again to appease the gods...and you will see the same deceit in many religions throughout the world and throughout the ages.
If it wasn't for Jesus Christ there would have been no end to it...in fact, there still isn't, but when you have seen through one you have seen through them all...and this is an an attribute of righteousness. (Trying to follow Jesus as he taught us).
-
Sorry but Jesus did NOT fulfill ALL, nor some or most, ALL of the criteria for being the Messiah 7 THAT'S why he was crucified. Some is not good enough...!!!!
End of story !!!!!

You seem to think that Jesus' work is finished...but it isn't. It isn't over until Judgment Day and though the signs say that it isn't far off there is still time to be saved as long as we stop bitching and realise that only Jesus can support us through the forthcoming 'great tribulations' and whether Jew, Muslim, or Christian, we will need a proven track record of righteous understanding to be saved...how else can we all start off on the right foot afterwards when war, disease, and despair will be a thing of the past.
This is what God's righteous science is telling me, and let's face it, science is the logic of Almighty God and his son, Jesus Christ.

Just quoting your own posts, perhaps you shouldn't do this whole paganism is very new and ancient schtick. Pick one and stop contradicting yourself.

I see. An angry Jew, who happens to be a pagan but won't admit that there were pagans who also persecuted Jews. Anyway, you've only been going on about it for the last 70 years, using it as an excuse to persecute other people, mainly Palestinians, and being the puppetmaster behind all the other troubles in the Middle-East in the name of a greater Israel. Well, I would not shed a tear if Israel (and it's puppet the USA) was to all of a sudden cease to exist. We can only hope.
-
It needed a revival because Christianity tried to wipe it out!
Indeed. Paganism is the worship of idols and demons. Modern adherents don't even believe in the gods they honour. It's the most stupidest thing ever.
-

You do realise that these sentences, wrong and stupid as they are, contradict each other, don't you?

So the Jews, certainly of that time, were completely wrong in their scriptures ??? According to YOU anyway !!!
As for signs of Judgement Day, the Jews thought the Messiah was to rid them of the Romans, He didn't !!!
Righteous understanding ?!!?!? What's THAT when it's at home ?!?!??
-
You do realise that these sentences, wrong and stupid as they are, contradict each other, don't you?
Well, not really, no. Ancient pagans actually believed in the gods they were supposed to honour and modern pagans just play silly buggers, but the gods they claim to worship, whether they actually believe in them or not, are still idols and demons.

You might like to read this then......
http://www.raymondibrahim.com/from-the-arab-world/the-logic-of-islamic-intolerance/
A sermon delivered by popular Saudi Sheikh Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid clearly demonstrates why Western secular relativists and multiculturalists — who currently dominate media, academia, and politics — are incapable of understanding, much less responding to, the logic of Islamic intolerance.
During his sermon, al-Munajjid said that “some [Muslim] hypocrites” wonder why it is that “we [Muslims] don’t permit them [Western people] to build churches, even though they allow mosques to be built.” The Saudi sheikh responded by saying that any Muslim who thinks this way is “ignorant” and
wants to equate between right and wrong, between Islam and kufr [non-Islam], monotheism and shirk [polytheism], and gives to each side equal weight, and wants to compare this with that, and he asks: “Why don’t we build them churches like they build us mosques? So we allow them this in return for that?” Do you want another other than Allah to be worshiped? Do you equate between right and wrong? Are Zoroastrian fire temples, Jewish temples, Christian churches, monks’ monasteries, and Buddhist and Hindu temples, equal to you with the houses of Allah and mosques? So you compare this with that? And you equate this with that? Oh! Unbelievable, for he who equates between Islam and kufr [non-Islam], and Allah said: “Whoever desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers” (Koran 3:85). And Prophet Muhamad said: “By Him in whose hand is the life of Muhamad (By Allah) he who amongst the Jews or Christians hears about me, but does not affirm his belief in that which I have been sent, and dies in his state (of disbelief), he shall be of the residents of Hellfire.”
What’s interesting about the sheikh’s zealous diatribe is that, although “intolerant” from a Western perspective, it is, in fact, quite logically consistent and reveals the wide gap between Islamic rationalism and Western fantasy (despite how oxymoronic this dichotomy might sound).
-
Well, not really, no.
Yes, really.
Ancient pagans actually believed in the gods they were supposed to honour and modern pagans just play silly buggers, but the gods they claim to worship, whether they actually believe in them or not, are still idols and demons.
There are no idols and demons. Nor can you worship anything you don't actually believe in.
You seem very confused.
-
Clearly you're the one who's confused. One can worship gods they don't believe in. Mordern pagans are proof of that.
-
One can worship gods they don't believe in.
How does that work, then?
-
How does that work, then?
Ask the pagans. That's why I said they play silly buggers.
-
To trippymonkey:
As a secular relativist I can deal with absolutists, because the alternative is being absolutist. You seem to be espousing the logic of 'if you can't beat them, join them, or join some other bunch of equally mad absolutists'.
That madmen and murderers can rationally work out a way to achieve their mad aims is not a surprise, nor does it make them rationalists.
-
Ask the pagans.
You're the one making the assertion - I'm asking you.
-
Ad-o, your opinion of paganism is so stupid it isn't worth the effort replying to it.
-
You're the one making the assertion - I'm asking you.
You'll have to ask them how they square that in their head but that they worship them is beyond doubt, otherwise they (modern pagans) wouldn't exist.
-
Ad-o, your opinion of paganism is so stupid it isn't worth the effort replying to it.
Paganism is stupid, yes. My opinion, however, is quite accurate.
-
You'll have to ask them how they square that in their head but that they worship them is beyond doubt
But you're the one claiming that people worship things that they don't believe exist. It's up to you to substantiate that claim.
-
Before Christianity raised its ugly head everyone was pagan! For between 24 and 22,000 years.
Then maybe you should be sacrificing babies to Baal.
-
OK - just once:
Before Christianity raised its ugly head everyone was pagan! For between 24 and 22,000 years. It needed a revival because Christianity tried to wipe it out!
OK, just to remind you about your history of religion, Matt: prior to the arrival of Christianity, there was Judaism, there was Hinduism, there was Buddhism, there was Confucianism, there was Shintoism; there was animism, there was ancestor worship - and that's just to name a few. I would be surprised if many religious scholars would regard the first 5 as 'Pagan', and many probably wouldn't include the last 2 either.
In the immediate vicinity of the Old Testamnt Jews, there would have been the various 'state' religions of the nations that lived in the area. Again, were they 'Pagan'?

Perhaps Owl was referring to Europe - of the religions you mention one was middle eastern and the rest far eastern. Even the oldest (Hinduism) is just a few thousand years old.
-
Perhaps Owl was referring to Europe ...
He might have been thinking that, Shakes, but he didn't say that. He said that "Before Christianity raised its ugly head everyone was pagan! For between 24 and 22,000 years" The emphasis isn't mine, but Matt's.
After all, Christianity isn't originally a European/Western religion, so why use Europe as his benchmark? After all, it had spread to India and N. Africa before it reached much beyond the southern fringes of Europe.
Let's assume that he was referring to Europe alone; which pre-Christian European religions were actually Pagan? Not sure that the Norse gods were 'pagan' in the sense he uses the term.

Eh? Do what? Go around feeling self-righteous because you feel offend on someone else's behalf?
It's called empathy ;)

It's called empathy ;)
He doesn't do that.

And Nicolas proves my point exactly........ On the salvation thread..... It's all about control..... >:(
-
He doesn't do that.
Oh I do empathy, I just don't see how it fits in here, namely desiring the conversion of someone else, in this case the Jews.
-
Oh I do empathy, I just don't see how it fits in here, namely desiring the conversion of someone else, in this case the Jews.
Assuming they're religious (being Jewish and being a theist are not synonymous), Jews already have a religion with which they're presumably happy and so don't want or need any attempts at conversion. Jews generally don't proselytise and even initially refuse would-be converts. Take a leaf out of their book.

A young man knocks on the door of a great Talmudic scholar.
"Rabbi, I wish to study Talmud."
“Do you know Aramaic?”
“No."
“Hebrew?”
“No."
“Have you ever studied Torah?”
“No, Rabbi, but I graduated from Harvard summa cum laude in philosophy, and received a PhD from Yale. I'd like to round out my education with a bit of Talmud.”
“I doubt that you are ready for Talmud. It is the broadest and deepest of books. If you wish, however, I will examine you in logic, and if you pass the test I will teach you Talmud.”
"Good. I'm well versed in logic."
"First question. Two burglars come down a chimney. One emerges with a clean face, the other with a dirty face. Which one washes his face?”
”The burglar with the dirty face."
“Wrong. The one with the clean face. Examine the logic. The burglar with a dirty face looks at the one with a clean face and thinks his face is clean. The one with a clean face looks at the burglar with a dirty face and thinks his face is dirty. So the one with the clean face washes.”
“Very clever. Another question please.”
“Two burglars come down a chimney. One emerges with a clean face, the other with a dirty face. Which one washes his face?”
“We established that. The burglar with the clean face washes.”
“Wrong. Both wash. Examine the logic. The one with a dirty face thinks his face is clean. The one with a clean face thinks his face is dirty. So the burglar with a clean face washes. When the one with a dirty face sees him washing, however, he realizes his face must be dirty too. Thus both wash.”
“I didn’t think of that. Please ask me another.”
“Two burglars come down a chimney. One emerges with a clean face, the other with a dirty face. Which one washes his face?”
“Well, we know both wash.”
“Wrong. Neither washes. Examine the logic. The one with the dirty face thinks his face is clean. The one with the clean face thinks his face is dirty. But when clean-face sees that dirty-face doesn’t bother to wash, he also doesn’t bother. So neither washes. As you can see, you are not ready for Talmud.”
"Rabbi, please, give me one more test.”
“Two burglars come down a chimney. One emerges with a clean face, the other with a dirty face. Which one washes his face?”
“Neither!”
“Wrong. And perhaps now you will see why Harvard and Yale cannot prepare you for Talmud. Tell me, how is it possible that two men come down the same chimney, and one emerges with a clean face, while the other has a dirty face?"
"But you've just given me four contradictory answers to the same question! That's impossible!"
"No, my son, that's Talmud.

Yet, as you have pointed out in other posts, they share an important religious element with Christians - that of humanity being fallen and awaiting a Messiah.
Imagine that you shared a general political viewpoint with someone else but felt that a particular stance they held was erroneous, (the current debate about bombing Raqqah is a good example), would you not feel that it was right for you to point out where you feel they were going wrong?

Persecution, torture and murder wouldn't cross my mind either.

It is on account of our Lord, who came from that people and preached to them first, that we desire their conversion. This is why we also pray for them, that the veil will be lifted from their hearts and will accept Christ.

I see that's going well ::)

Rose, Hope, Shaker, ad-orientem, Nearly Sane:
The problem is, you see, that all Abrahamic teachings resolve themselves in the righteous teaching of Jesus Christ...Not just because it carries the most refreshing of all Godly teaching but because it is built upon a science that goes right to the crux of all science, all life and all Godly devotion.
There is no way round it...we must...and that includes you lot...bow down to the teaching of the highest scientist this universe has ever produced, else take the consequences, which is Biblically summed up as eternal damnation and seeing that even the feeblest of spirits which we all possess is indestructible, that might just mean exactly what it says,

I wonder just how many HERE think December 25th actually IS Jesus' birthday ?!?!!? ::) ;)

Well, even the Old Testament, which they accept, refers to them as a stiffnecked people. Still, we have a theological imperative to try.
-
Point out? Not for two thousand years, no.
Perhaps you could expand on this rather obtuse comment.
Persecution, torture and murder wouldn't cross my mind either.
Perhaps you could also give chapter and verse from the NT that suggests that these horrific events, which I'm not suggesting didn't occur, are acceptable to God.
-
I see that's going well ::)
Well, I understand that the number of Jews becoming Christians is on the increase.
-
Oh! In that case you share the same important religious element with Islam, when are you going to become a Muslim? Hope?
Sorry, Rose, whilst Muslims do look for a Messiah - they look for the second coming of Christ and a Messiah (those have to occur at the same time). In both Judaism and Christianity, there is only a single person - so, no I won't be becoming a Muslim.
-

Not quite sure where you get the second half of this comment from - or are you using the words science and - later - scientist in their broadest sense - namely a person of knowledge?

He's probably referring to "Messianic Jews". Don't worry, they're hardly Christian, still clinging to the Law with many never even having heard of the Creed.
-
ad_orientem, Shaker, Rose, Nearly Sane, trippymonkey:
In case you have missed the point I am making, I will repeat it...
A new science is emerging out of the evidence contained within the known universe which states categorically that Almighty God is alive and well. He told us via his son Jesus Christ how it all works according what is most important in our combined daily lives...and why righteousness is the highest achievable science. One of its attributes is that it sees behind all the pretense and image-craft which is guided by lies and deceit, and, via the route of God's science, which supports our unhealthy genetics so that we can repair...All because the entire universe is the product of God's Mighty Power, his Dynamic Energy, His Fountain of Living Waters, which unifies the whole of science into a wonderful story that is the inspiration behind the whole of the Holy Bible...and, quite frankly, is our only hope in these terrible days...when resurrection could be a pathway to salvation.
-
OH DEAR ?!!??!? :o ::)
-
He's probably referring to "Messianic Jews". Don't worry, they're hardly Christian, still clinging to the Law with many never even having heard of the Creed.
That's why they call themselves Messianic Jews not all of them accept Jesus as any more than a Messiah ( in the Jewish definition of Messiah rather than the Christian one)
I don't think they want to be labelled a Christian
Although fellow Jews often do.
I was fortunate enough to make a friend online with a ex messianic Rabbi and his wife who returned to Orthodox Judaism he taught me a lot about Orthodox Judaism.
We corresponded for about 6 years. He was a member of Jewish outreach.
His wife's upbringing was Catholic although she was actually a Jewess. I think that was a knock on effect from WW2.
Very interesting it was.
Not ALL messianic Jews are Christian.
Anyway why shouldn't they live by Jewish law and keep kosher if they always have?
It's as much a part of their culture and community as anything else.
Even atheist Jews still follow it, because they always have, it's how they were brought up.
Would you insist an exbuddhist ate meat to prove he no longer followed his previous ideas?
Eating kosher and living a Jewish life doesn't hurt other Christians, they are just following the " Jewish" Jesus rather than the blond blue eyed one created by people who don't have a Jewish background.
I don't remember the New Testament saying that Jews that followed the law, had to stop............. Just that Gentiles didn't have to take it all on.
-
You cannot serve two masters. To continue to circumcise and follow the Law clearly shows that they still reject the Gospel and remain dead in their sins. They must be baptised into the Church. There is no salvation outside the Church.

Well, one can prove it by quoting Christ's instructions - but then of course, there are those who regard what he said as either misreported or irrelevant.
-
I know you mean well but then doesn't all this just 'degenerate' into personal experience ??
How do you show it 'works' ???
-
Well, one can prove it by quoting Christ's instructions - but then of course, there are those who regard what he said as either misreported or irrelevant.
We don't need to quote Jesus' instructions we have to live them. We than find that we are partaking in the highest science known to God. A science that with skill and understanding will deliver into our own hands the ability to perform what appeared 2000 years ago to be miracles. Jews, gentiles, Muslims, and all others who can join into that science will have one advantage that no other person will have and that is the power of resurrection which in this day and age will be like manna from Heaven for very many people.

But you don't actually KNOW this, do you ??
Have you ever read any other teachings ?
-
But you don't actually KNOW this, do you ??

You wouldn't believe me if I said I did know this for a fact...but Jesus took it one step further and proved it to those who found righteousness struck a chord with them...you see, no righteous spirit, no righteous resurrection...not to the old broken vessel but to a new vessel just as Jesus teaches us. Its the eternal damnation bit if we don't comply which should worry us.

I thought Christians believed the God who gave the laws to the Jews in the first place, was the same one who created Christianity? ???
So which two masters?
" there is no salvation outside the church" is one of those controlling statements I find hard to accept.
My J W relatives believe there is no salvation outside the "Kingdom Hall."
It isn't the church that saves people is it?
I thought it was supposed to be Jesus.

See, I don't accept any of this.
Its all about getting you to give various religious institutions, authority over you.
The LDS are as bad.
I prefer not to give authority to any organised religion.

I prefer to work it out for myself.

Righteousness strikes a chord with many people Nicolas.
The problem is everyone has slightly different ideas on what that is.
I eat meat, some people would think that goes against being righteous.
The best we can do is share our ideas and argue our case.
In the OT they did that, and in the Talmud.
I feel closer to the Jewish idea of questioning, than I do to the Christian and Muslim one of surrendering
While the idea of a complete surrender to faith, a surrender to God, is harmonious with many Christian and Muslim faiths, it's much less comfortable for most Jews, who are traditionally taught to question in order to learn more deeply. Judaism tends to encourage individuals to explore their own personal relationship with God. For those people who are comfortable with the idea of surrender, God-wrestling is not an easy concept.

I think it is awful when Jews lose that.... I think life is about questioning 🌹
Christianity just doesn't feel it fits me, and I'm too old to convert to Judaism plus my family are into bacon sarnies. ;)

The old was only for a certain people for a certain time but that time has ended. The old covenant is dead, finished, nailed to the cross with our Lord Jesus Christ. We now have a new covenant. To continue to keep the old is to reject the new. The Church is the only ark of salvation. The Church is Christ's body apart from which no one can be saved. If we are not part of that body then we cannot be raised to newness of life.
-
I feel closer to the Jewish idea of questioning, than I do to the Christian and Muslim one of surrendering
There's an idea of surrendering in Christianity? Do you have a chapter and verse for that claim, Rose? I'd agree that Judaism includes a lot of questioning (perhaps too much) but then Chriostians are told to 'test the spirits', and to use our discernment about things - both of which involve a lot of questions.

I think the problem I have with Judaism is two-fold; they were too keen to retain the Good News for themselves, and the more I read about the nature of 'Messiah' throughout the Old Testament, the more I see that the references refer to someone/some being remarkably like Jesus.
-

Unlike the JWs for whom the 'Kingdom Hall' is a physical place, Christianity uses the same term for the people of God as for the building in which they will often meet.
Amongst his final instructions to his disciples was the instruction 'to go out and make disciples'. Making disciples involves several states, starting with introducing someone to Jesus (or the other way round if you'd prefer), leading them to a point where they feel able to commit their lives to Christ - the actual act of which I, as a Christian, can never be part of as it is between the individual and God - followed by the on-going teaching of them in the ways of Christ (maturity).
Whilst I can think of a few people who have managed to come all th way through to maturity in isolation form any other believer, they are few and far between. Jesus said that those who follow him are a family - and the best way to experience life as a family is together.
It's also worth remembering that salvation is often a process that takes time and one needs support and encouragement when working through processes.
-

You can't seriously question in Christianity because the dogma tells you what you " ought " to believe and think and all to often your salvation depends on you accepting a certain line of thought.
Judaism is more based on what you do, so opinions on this and that are quite varied.
-
Is there such a thing as too much questioning, then?
I think there can be - imagine an engineer who constantly questions the validity of a design. Are they ever going to produce anything?

Well, you have clearly experienced a Christianity that is not only way outside of my experience but also very much outside of mainstream Christianity, Rose.
Judaism is more based on what you do, so opinions on this and that are quite varied.
Are they? Old Testament teaching is far stricter and more rigid than any New Testament equivalent.

Support and encouragement all to often consists of bringing someone to accept approved beliefs.
It's a sort of peer pressure.

Well I can't question different aspects of the story of Moses or Abraham because in Christianity the story only means one thing.
Which is how the church has interpreted it.
My experiences arn't outside mainstream Christianity though, that's the issue.
Alpha courses only ask certain controlled questions whose correct answer, someone else has already decided.
Some Christian courses are worse than others...... :o
When you are disconnected from Christianity some of them appear really bizarre and contrived.

Yes. A better design.
That's what questioning is for.

Please define, exactly and precisely, what the word "science" means in the post quoted.
I ask because, from the context, it does NOT mean what I mean when I use the word.
What does science mean to me???
Oh Owlswing can’t you come up with a more taxing question??
Science for me, is, accepting all the science that has been discovered by modern science as true and accurate, and then realising that they are stumped over unifying the four key universal forces…and so, doing it for them…and in so doing unearthing much more than I actually bargained for…like…the universe is made from a single, and wonderful material. It is invisible, superabundant and follows repeatable patterns, over and over again. Your Jewish God speaks of it in Isaiah, as his ‘Mighty Power’ and in my Holy Bible as his superabundant ‘Dynamic Energy’ . Science has a more drab name for it.
The key knowledge it yields is that there are two dimensions working one over the top of other and the conflicts between the two create a ‘Magnetic Friction’ and it is this magnetic friction that gives us gravity, nuclear power, electro-magnetic force and life…but you can find all that in my previous posts…especially this...God's Mighty Power' is all owned by Almighty God and his much loved prodigy…Jesus Christ.
Now…it doesn’t matter whether you are Jew, Christian, Muslim, Hindi or any other religion…the only way to the root of this science is by following the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ.

I thought I had made it quite clear Owlswing that I accept all science, which is like saying...I have explored modern science, followed its calculations and logic and accept many of its principles but to unify the highest reasoning behind their knowledge-base we need a little Biblical help and in the Gospels, this help spreads out into a little Freudian logic too but, of course, Jesus Christ and Almighty God were a long time before either Einstein, Darwin or Freud.
Now it will be interesting to hear your next snarling onslaught because Freudian logic tells me there will be one.

You should know who Baal is. The Israelites ended up worshipping him on a number of occasions, even putting their firstborn through the fire.
-
Why would Owlswing know?
-
NM, as has been said many times, your definition of science doesn't appear to be that of anyone else.
I would have thought my answer here would have silenced all critics Floo...except, of course, those who have little understanding about science and who can't see that accepting science is the highest foundation for exploring and unifying that science...and if the Holy Bible gives a helping hand then so be it...especially when it becomes clear that the author of the Holy Bible had a very high grasp of that knowledge contained within this science.
Closed minds only have the ability to repeat their rhetoric so it would be helpful if you embroidered a little on my errors...as you see them.

Equating science with the Bible goes to show you have no real idea what science about, each of your posts seems to confirm it.
-
Righteousness strikes a chord with many people Nicolas.
I think it is awful when Jews lose that.... I think life is about questioning 🌹
Christianity just doesn't feel it fits me, and I'm too old to convert to Judaism plus my family are into bacon sarnies. ;)
But I can really appreciate aspects of Judaism :)
Righteousness has only one meaning Rose...it is what Jesus said and did...it is what we should try and adopt as our nature giving up all the snarls and aggression we encounter every day here. The reason why this is a good idea is so that we can soothe and calm our own genetic health but those who are the most wound-up get their highest delight out of winding up the genetic health of all those around them.
This is why it is wise to listen to Jesus Christ because when our genetic health fails a whole assortment of malfunctions tell us that we should have listened to him in the first place.

That isn't very specific Floo, but it will do.
On what grounds do you say that the universe isn't made from a wonderful, invisible, dynamic energy, as recorded in the Holy Bible and which gives a complete and absolute answer to all sciences...when you look at it my, and the Holy Bibles way??

On the grounds that this is the DEFAULT position, until you can demonstrate it to be true.
Simply saying it over and over and over again does not make it true.
It does indicate you are delusional though.

Let's take a look at this sciences attributes then BeRational...It unifies all science...It unifies all universal forces....it unifies evolution...it unifies the teaching of Jesus Christ and it unifies the Old Testament too...Oh...and it has unified many people over many generations either by its purity or its iniquity and let's face it...it has a lot to say from your perspective too.
I think that says an awful lot for a very simple, honest and righteous science.
Got to go.

It DOES NOT unify anything.
It is an assertion.
It is NOTHING until you can demonstrate it.
Can you demonstrate it, and not just keep repeating assertions.

Here we go again! ::) The Bible doesn't mention science, or dynamic energy, which isn't surprising as science as a discipline hadn't been thought of in those far off days!
-
Closed minds only have the ability to repeat their rhetoric so it would be helpful if you embroidered a little on my errors...as you see them.
Well, for starters,
there's no evidence that life on Earth died out completely.
there's no evidence that a being from another planet came to this one and re-started life.
there's no reason to suppose that the magic spaceman hung around and impregnated a young jewish virgin some 2,000 years ago (other otherwise influenced the intellectual development of some jewish bloke about that time).
there's no reason to suppose that you have "unified the four fundamental forces".
Your descriptions of gravity, orbits and even the swing of a pendulum display a sub GCSE grasp of any of these motions.
the assertion that the Earth will (by means unknown) suddenly 'fly off' into a different orbit due (apparently) to a combination of climate change and global conflicts indicates possibly the most pronounced example of the Dunning-Kruger effect ever committed to type.
I cannot think of a single statement of yours regarding science that doesn't fall soundly into the Not Even Wrong category.
...and that really is just for starters.
-
SqueakyVoice, Floo, BeRational:
BeRational...When a single line of logic explains everything, especially, the complexities of science and even more especially ventures into genetic health and shows how millions of people over many generations have clung to that teaching it shows that there is great value in that teaching...A science, especially built around the poor, might be hard to swallow but I'm afraid, if nothing else, it is worth exploring and if you find the wonderful truth I have found ok...but if you haven't well your science must be a bit wobbly because nothing comes from nothing which is contrary to what your science is telling you.
Floo...The Holy Bible talks a lot about a God who created the universe...the universe is made in a scientific way and so Almighty God is a scientist of the highest order. Doesn't need the word science to explain this...what it needs is a people with mental agility to work things out for themselves and when that Scientist delivers his only begotten son to tell us God's ways, his truth and his life he must be talking science to fit in with everything we know about God...which is he created a scientific universe. The fact that millions of people have found succour in those words should also be a strong indicator to the veracity of his teaching.
SqeakyVoice...The Holy Bible suggests it did become tidally locked...reason being that it was seed already in the Earth that sprung into life after the environment had been restored...but the classic point here is the verse that says 'darkness was on the face of the watery deep'...which, though recited trillions of times without realising it can mean only one thing...The planet was tidally locked...As it had life before this and certainly had life afterwards can only mean that it was given a kick-start creating the first day and the first night of God's new project. Now, it is the proof of many other things in the Bible which tell us with confidence that the things that are harder to understand are as true as the easier things to understand and which, by faith, millions have found great store in.
You may not have seen a UFO or read the reports that are coming in but it seems that the Earth has quite a number of alien visitors regularly and to travel the distances required their sciences must be way above ours. Though science is lost on the subject my science gives them a credible way of doing things and I can guarantee that first, before they contemplated travelling around the universe they had broken the hidden code behind the Grand Unification of the Four Universal Field Forces.
You see...whilst you are quick to besmirch a science that has a whole host of scientific facts in its toolbox...you can offer nothing to say I am wrong only the rhetoric that because its outside your ability to understand it, it must be wrong.
Best to get yourself a good Bible and, starting with the Gospels, begin to study science in a more meaningful, space-age way.

Can any Christians here explain EXACTLY what fossils are, please ???
-
Can any Christians here explain EXACTLY what fossils are, please ???
I thought I just did...It is the remains of the planetery life that existed before the planet became void and needed a kick-start and our God did the kicking and will again when it comes to Judgment Day and he demands to know who is responsible for all the distress inflicted upon the planet.
But not to worry, the righteous, and the innocent, will have a righteous spirit built upon the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ which will be proof of their innocence in the matter.
-
You should know who Baal is. The Israelites ended up worshipping him on a number of occasions, even putting their firstborn through the fire.
Not being an Israelite, especially not a pre-Christian era Israelite, there is no reason whatsoever for me to know anything at all about Baal.
Stick to what you (supposedly) know, the (supposed) truth of Christianity. At least I was once a Christian, which means that I know more of Christianity than you will ever know of paganism as you have no first-hand experience of it.
-
Yes. A better design.
That's what questioning is for.
👍

On what grounds do you say that the universe isn't made from a wonderful, invisible, dynamic energy, as recorded in the Holy Bible and which gives a complete and absolute answer to all sciences...when you look at it my, and the Holy Bibles way??
Well to me science is based on raw data and the conclusions are drawn from it. It's a form of measuring and recording and drawing the most likely solution.
Sometimes, some things are much more certain than other things in the way of conclusions.
Conclusions are open to change if different raw data indicates it's needed.
The bible doesn't rate as raw data IMO
Raw data is actually free of opinion and any opinion in science relies on raw data to prove its point.
Everything else is an opinion and an assertion.
The bible itself is an assertion, not raw data.
See?
🌹
Science should be based totally on raw data and the conjecture it raises, the bible on the other hand is just beliefs with no raw data.
Raw data is something concrete and material which you can measure, like rocks or light.
Things that you can measure and prove.
The only thing you can measure about the bible is its size and thickness , and that can vary ;)
;)

Funny that. In my local market square there's a memorial to a young man burned at the stake for being the wrong kind of Christian. Apparently the burning of heretics was pleasing to God.

Horrible!
Those who refused to reverse their religious beliefs (even after threat and torture) were tried, excommunicated and, if they had survived the horrors of imprisonment, burnt to death. It is thought that up to 284 Protestants were burnt at the stake during Mary's reign, 88 of them from Sussex.

About as much as Baal and baby sacrifice has to do with Owlswing and I. More so actually, since you do believe in the same god that they did.

My thanks to Nearlysane for highlighting this Great Scot.

Yes, I think he was a fantastic scientist, Gonners. Luckily, I saw the programme you refer to via a friends's sky box, even though it was only meant for Scottish viewers, it seems. I agree, it was an excellent programme. Even though, at that time, Maxwell was unable to devise experiments to test his theories about electromagnetism, his superb grasp of mathematics, leading to the equations he produced, laid the ground work, in many ways, to what modern physics is today.
Indeed, his ideas were initially rejected, as was the case with many other scientists, but because of his successful work on other projects(e.g. Saturn's rings, colour) he could not easily be discounted, So gradually his ideas became accepted, and eventually substantiated by the work of Hertz and others.
One of my favourite scientists. :)

Heresy is from the devil.

It's rather alarming that you believe this, ad-o.
-
Heresy is from the devil.
:o
-
It's rather alarming that you believe this, ad-o.
Why?
-
Why?
Because linking beliefs, behaviours and difference to the devil has been a cause of some of the worst abuses carried out by Christians throughout the centuries.
It's 2015. You really should have moved on.
-
Why?
Because it is an extremely narrow minded view of someone else's beliefs.
Also it sounds sort of ridiculous, like people have some supernatural being responsible for their thoughts, instead of just believing something different.
It's a bit strange, like believing people are possessed because they sneeze.
:o
-
Heresy is from the devil.
No, that's Hear'say
-
That people have done bad things to other people in the past doesn't mean I have to. as I said, one heretic doing something bad to another heretic is nothing to do with us. Nevertheless, heresy is ultimately from the devil indeed.
-
Interesting etymology, heresy.
It means 'to be able to choose', so a heretic is 'one who chooses.'
To have a problem with that says something about a person.
-
That people have done bad things to other people in the past doesn't mean I have to. as I said, one heretic doing something bad to another heretic is nothing to do with us. Nevertheless, heresy is ultimately from the devil indeed.
I think one supposed heretic doing something bad to another supposed heretic should concern people and is to do with us.
People shouldn't be doing bad things to others whose beliefs differ from theirs.
Isn't that what the story of the good Samaritan is about? That it is to do with us?
Jesus' target audience, the Jews, hated Samaritans[9] to such a degree that the Lawyer's phrase "The one who had mercy on him" may indicate a reluctance to name the Samaritan.[10] The Samaritans in turn hated the Jews.[11] Tensions were particularly high in the early decades of the 1st century because Samaritans had desecrated the Jewish Temple at Passover with human bones.[12]

I think I'm right, the Samaritans were not considered proper

Can you imagine if it worked...having beliefs you don't want and ending up in a heaven you don't want with a god you don't want? It's just plain rude.

Thanks for that Gonnagle..Just finished watching it and enjoyed it thoroughly. One of the interesting points made was that he died relatively young of abdominal cancer and this might be an area that his own knowledge-base might one day prove very important but from the perspective of the Highest Jew rather than the highest scientific Scot.

We condemn paganism and we pray for pagans because we know where paganism leads. That last part especially, knowing where error leads, is what moved St. Nicholas to punch or slap (can't remember which) the arch-heretic Arius at the council of Nicaea.

You've got the major part of the history of monotheism right there.

All:
I'll reiterate because you all (the majority of you) seem to have the urge to go off half-cock from the topic that we are talking about...a science that is way above what modern science knows about so far.
Jesus summed it up when he said..."I am not of this world" and we now know that to have come from another world he must have been working from the highest science possible and when he said, "I am the way, the truth and the life" he was talking about a science that would reverberate throughout the ages until we could understand that science and millions before us support that statement, a statement which has fed iniquity as well as the faithful ever since the day Jesus went back to his world.
Now the serious work begins...either we submit to Jesus' righteous teaching or we don't...One way leads to a wonderful science and the other to eternal damnation because the nature of our spirit is indestructible, but when neglected...very flimsy and totally unfit for resurrection.
The accurate teaching of Jesus Christ is the only way forward from here.
-
All:
This just occurred to me and so I pass it to you because it is a simple way of passing on a very profound spiritual point...It probably emerged from watching Gonnagle's video.
We have spoken before about 'magnetic friction'...a property that emerges from the conflicts between two dimensional forces and which give us the Higg's, gravity, and electro-magnetism and which is also present in life. The reason I mention it is because it suddenly dawned on me that it is when we destabilise this friction as in a magnet etc it is when wild electric behaviour becomes apparent and this is probably the best way to explain the cancer-cell...that it is the genetic excitement that initially throws the cancer-cell into top-gear.
This gel's with my own thoughts because Jesus is always teaching us to dumb-down our over excitement and perhaps this is the reason why...in fact, I know it is the reason why.

Eh? You'll need to explain that one. Unity isn't optional. The Church is Christ's body, the only ark of salvation. It cannot be divided.

Of course Floo...when the science is fully revealed with all the proof and all its veracity exposed, you will put your hand up and say well...I don't want anything to do with it...won't you??
Actually it wont be left to us. Just as all the electric disturbances drain our bodies of its health and enthusiasm it will rely exclusively upon our righteous spiritual strength to support us when we approach Almighty God's Judgment Seat, which is just as well, because harnessing Almighty God's righteous strength for our own health is also the science behind the way, the truth and the life of Jesus Christ.
No righteous spirit...no resurrection.

Are you right this time or when you said exactly the same things about Catholicism a year or two ago, and how are you - or we for that matter - supposed to know on which occasion you're right? You may try to forget it and others may not know but I well recall how absolute and - it's the only word - dogmatic you were not ever so long ago about the Catholic Church being the final, ultimate and absolute repository of all truth. Now it isn't, and something else is. I have very little doubt that in the fullness of time something else will be, and it will be equally narrow, rigid, dogmatic, doctrinaire, inflexible and unpleasant.
-
some people see all images as idols.
Be it icons, crosses, even football 🌹
Even images of Mohammed :)
Some won't even watch TV or hang a picture on the wall.
-
Pagans worship the image.
My deities are as real to me as your Johnny-come-lately is to you!
Your arrogance in the dismissal of all matters of faith except your own is monumental!
At least I am able to acknowledge that there is the possibility that my belief, being a matter of faith and not established fact, is in error; you are so pathetically attached to yours that you cannot do so for fear that the rest of the religions of the world will laugh themselves sick if and when you find that it is you that is in error and your whole "My way is the only way" house of cards tumbles to the ground around your feet.
-
On the contrary, there can be no other way. If I didn't think Christianity was the one true way I simply wouldn't be a Christian and if I didn't think that the Orthodox Church was the one true Church I simply wouldn't be an Orthodox Christian. Only one can be right. If I didn't think that I'd be an atheist. It's the only coherent way. That you're so touchy betrays the insecurity of your own beliefs.
-

You're conclusion simply doesn't follow. On the contrary, rather than being narrow, rigid etc. that I eventually came to the conclusion that the Roman Catholic Church is not the Church shows that I'm searching, testing and so on an so forth.

You're conclusion simply doesn't follow. On the contrary, rather than being narrow, rigid etc. that I eventually came to the conclusion that the Roman Catholic Church is not the Church shows that I'm searching, testing and so on an so forth.

-
But you're simply going through one after the other and saying exactly the same about each. How is that 'testing'?
I went from Rome to Constantinople. Hardly "one after the other".

Where will it be next time?

There is no "next time". If I ever came to the conclusion I was wrong then the only option left would be atheism.
-

Why? You don't strike me as the type to give up on the narrow, inflexible, dogmatic religions that tell you what to believe and how to think and what to eat and not to eat and when to do it or not do it, of which there are plenty more.
-
You really have no clue, do you!

WRONG - it is your insistance that there is only oine way - your way - that shows the insecurity.
I am prepared to consider that I may be wrong and willing to accept, upon the return of one of either ours or yours from the other side to concede defeat - you are not, you are going to be the one who is going to suffer the pain of error not I as I can accept error as a possibilty, but only a possibility until that return.
Until then I am convinced that MY way is the right way but I do not try to convince everyone that I am the only right one as your arrogance and insecurity demand that you do.
-
You really have no clue, do you!
About what specifically? You didn't say.
-
There is no "next time". If I ever came to the conclusion I was wrong then the only option left would be atheism.
Why?
You haven't explored every philosophy of life and religion.
There might be something better, another way of looking at life.
-
Eh? You'll need to explain that one. Unity isn't optional. The Church is Christ's body, the only ark of salvation. It cannot be divided.
Your focus is on something man-made to the point where you appear to have faith in man-made constructs above all else. That's idolatry - worshipping the created and not the creator.
-

Here is a better way of looking at life...through the eyes of Jesus Christ.
He knows that when we abandon his righteous teaching we look at things differently and many times our thinking is being directed by unhealthy forces. We only have to look at the power of advertising to know that we can be induced to believe anything and devious forces can ensure a luxurious life style by suppressing the Christian message.
So...what's in it for us to abandon evil and start living the way we should...well...the end to war would be nice but the best is the end to war inside our own flesh and blood...largely because there is a pair of glands secreted within our own bodies that yield a vital substance. Glands which are crushed out of existence at an early age...generally in our teen years though sometimes before and sometimes after...and when it is lost we begin to demolish our own inner reserves until that is gone as well.
Well...there is only one answer and that is to follow the science as accurately as possible and when we talk about science here we are talking about the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ...
...whilst I continue to track and explore this science, which is showing great potential, for those chosen to participate in it.
-

That you are putting your faith in a very narrowly defined concept of 'the Church' rather than in God.

Almighty God sent Jesus Christ and no church built upon any other teaching holds any authority except iniqutious authority issued by evil.

A religious image is not an idol.
So what the H is then? Hindus use religious images in the same way Christians have Christ's image but NO THAT'S idol worship.
Come on - make your bloody minds up, PLEASE !?!?!?

Pagans worship the image itself and that it what differentiates it from Christian veneration of sacred images. I would refer you to the seventh ecumenical council against the iconoclasts.

Can you tell me what images I worship?
Me too please!
Or are you referring to the Sun and the Moon?
The things natural that are all around us?
The Wind, the rain, that sustain all life?
Ad_O - write a detailed description here on this Forum of the idol or idols that I will worship when, on the night of December 21, I celebrate the winter solstice, Yule.
Please advertise to all here just what a load of nothing that you really know, not guess, not invent, not create out of your book of rubbish, but what you actually KNOW about my beliefs!
Just so that you know - I will not be holding my breath waiting for your response and, when or if, you do post I will have a really good long laugh at your public demonstration of you pathetic ignorance!
And when you do you can deny anything you like but this is a fact:
I KNOW MORE, AND HAVE FORGOTTEN MORE, ABOUT PAGAN BELIEF AND PRACTICE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW FOR I AM THE ONE WHOSE PRACTICES THOSE BELIEFS

Well, if you've forgotten so much, then obviously you need the practice! :D :D

Nature worship is idol worship, for one worships the created thing rather than the creator.

And you know that I worship nature how, exactly?

Well, if you've forgotten so much, then obviously you need the practice! :D :D

It doesn't matter whether you are Jew, Pagan, Muslim, Christian or couldn't care less...we all have the same science in our health. The accurate teaching of Jesus Christ is the missing link and when we try to follow that missing link without the iniquity that has sprung up around him we find that an unspecified science is at work and bringing that science into terms we can all understand difficult. But see if you can understand this...
There is a single nutrient produced within the human body that we cut off at an early age. Reinstating it is vital if we want to unravel the physical complexities its starvation engenders. It reaches into all flesh and all bones...into all glands and all muscles...it reaches into all life and all ways of life and righteousness is at its pinnacle...so...it is wise to reach out for the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ.
-
It doesn't matter whether you are Jew, Pagan, Muslim, Christian or couldn't care less...we all have the same science in our health.
We are all subject to the same natural laws, which science hopes to uncover, yes.
The accurate teaching of Jesus Christ is the missing link and when we try to follow that missing link without the iniquity that has sprung up around him we find that an unspecified science is at work and bringing that science into terms we can all understand difficult.
Nope. The teachings of Jesus are, at least in part, a creditable start a society of mutual respect and care which are in part undermined by mystical elements and superstitious nonsense. There is very little that can be recognised as science or scientific in there.
But see if you can understand this...
Said the pot, to the kettle...
There is a single nutrient produced within the human body that we cut off at an early age.
In which organ or gland is this 'nutrient' produced? What structures does it nourish? What are the base components of it? What effects do shortages have? How have you identified this 'nutrient'?
Reinstating it is vital if we want to unravel the physical complexities its starvation engenders.
Which are? This is reading like an elongated Buzzfeed headline at the moment... "You won't believe what happens when it's absent.... click below to find more!"
It reaches into all flesh and all bones...into all glands and all muscles...it reaches into all life and all ways of life and righteousness is at its pinnacle...so...its is wise to reach out for the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ.
Yes... and what is it? Is it a protein, a mineral, an element? From which ingested materials is it constructed, or do we need to take it in whole? How do we measure levels? How is it transported around the body?
O.

It is perhaps not unusual for someone to want to take dominance over a science they knew nothing about until this morning. However, I have incorporated its path of discovery...The accurate teaching of Jesus Christ...and whilst I explore this science fully it is all the help you will get until I am ready to reveal it to you.
This isn't a game, it is a way to reduce the level of lawlessness and disorder which the unrighteous seem to have no control over and which is destroying our women and children as if they have no right to exist, when, in truth, it is the war-mongers who have forfeited that right.

NM you get on with concocting your 'Jesus science', which hasn't anything to do with real science, and we will continue with our own thoughts on matters of faith. Never the twain shall meet!

That's ok Floo...It all stems from a Biblical knowledge anyway...that the universe and, thereby, all life, follows a code of behaviour that is achieved from a single force...God's Fountain of Living Waters...so it might be wise to ignore the fact that only those who can adopt righteousness can harness that source of rejuvenating energy, and where would you be, anyway, in the state of resurrection and no friends...No...it's perhaps for the best.

No it isn't a game!
It's you trying to get control over other people's minds :o
Not that I think anyone on here is going to fall for that.
Interesting how you want to make yourself central.
It's what cult leaders do, Nicolas.

Yes, Rose, you have seen through my hidden deceit in that I only ever tell you to follow the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ as it is written rather than how iniquity tells it to you and to spin up my cult following I have chosen the most awkward set of atheists you could wish to meet...and, on top of that, I support my case with a science that no one can understand except, perhaps, those already following Jesus Christ's accurate teaching...hmmm...well, I'm not going to get very far am I unless what I have to say is indeed Biblically accurate and that we are heading into a 3rd world war and for many resurrection is their only hope. I don't see much benefit from starting a cult on these grounds unless it is by righteous fellowship after God's Judgement...but most of you are too outspoken on your own denials to benefit from that.
Still...maybe your place can be filled by a repentant Jew.

I could tell you where not to go right now but my recommendation would be ...stick to known territory which you are very familiar with...can speak the language...have friends and know how to obtain vital assistance urgently...or else take a tip from Jesus Christ...follow him as accurately as possible and put your trust in his resurrection.
Both are good pieces of advice though one is better than the other but takes a little faith.

Sparkymido;

May I suggest that the second option that you omitted from your reply is the part you should act upon immediately...or...if you ignore that, then the first option might be more appropriate for immediate action.
Of course, you are probably suffering from propaganda overload and don't really believe that there are so many angry men out there, on both sides, and that the relevant political forces will harness their anger for their own various political reasons and if you factor this into future events, Jesus Christ offers the best and only solution with the chance of a worthwhile future...but resurrection will be its most powerful feature.
If all this is meaningless to you then we must conclude that God's Judgement isn't working in your favour.
-
May I suggest that the second option that you omitted from your reply is the part you should act upon immediately...or...if you ignore that, then the first option might be more appropriate for immediate action.
But why immediate action?
Is there something nasty going to happen in a very, very short time-scale as your use of the word immediate implies?

Haven't we been here before Seb...perhaps in my previous life on this forum...where I speak with honesty and sincerity and you keep poking fun in a circular, couldn't care less mode.
I answer because there might just be someone out there who is desperate for an answer on what the hell is happening to the world...people with loved ones who want and need to believe that this chaos has an end and that that end will be an honest and sincere way of life...and it is to you and them that I say...be guided by Jesus Christ's accurate teaching, from today. Absorb the strength from his fountain of living waters and know that there is a repair program on offer that will wipe all the tears from your eyes and it will be from our Jewish God who also sent Jesus Christ and whose resurrection is our guarantee. Don't want it...don't worry...you aint going to get it...but you certainly don't want the alternative.

I fail to see how that response addresses any of the questions that I asked about the nutrient you were referring to:
Is it ingested in the form it's used, or is it synthesised in an organ or gland of the body?
How is it utilised by the cells?
How is it stored in the body?
Through which system is it transported around the body?
O.

What I do Sparkster, is I ask you a question.
What you do is - not answer it! ::)
So I ask it again.
If you answered it instead of dodging, there would be no circularity.
So here goes again.....
.......why immediate action?
Is there something nasty going to happen in a very, very short time-scale as your use of the word immediate implies?

It depends who you think the con man is, Nicolas.
Jesus did teach some wonderful things about how people should behave towards each other and the value of giving.
A lot of people draw the line there, because I think they see that people have added to what he said, to control and manipulate people.
The golden rule is quite simple and a lot of people get it.
Not everyone chases after eternal life to the point they are going to be controlled by other people.
There are thousands of people out there who want to influence others ( yourself included) by making out they know more than they do.
My belief is that people don't need to look to other people to be righteous, they just need to live a good life by trying to be fair and live by the golden rule.
They don't even need your weird science.

I don't really have a lot of time spare at this time in the morning Rose...so I'll make it brief.
If you are happy with the state of this world today then you are living an illusion. I love your sentiments but the reality is a lot different. Whilst I say many things which you are free to ignore the ultimate of what I say is this...Follow the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ, as it is written but not as iniquity teaches it...from henceforth...and then, at the very least, participate in the science that offers resurrection and everlasting life.
Eternal damnation doesn't suit you.

Please explain what you think someone does, as an action , to participate?
Is it something they physically do? Or is it a matter of belief?
Eternal damnation doesn't suit anyone, and no one deserves that IMO.
What is it you are expecting people to do?

Eternal damnation doesn't suit anyone, and no one deserves that IMO.
The problem with the term 'eternal damnation' is that Biblically it refers to something that humans choose, as opposed to something that God does. It is eternal separation from God, and is dependent on choices that each human makes during ther earthly life. To suggest that ED 'doesn't suit anyone', is therefore wrong, as people consciously make such decisions.
-
I think it might be worth pointing out to NM that the 'Highest Jew' is/was the High Priest. To suggest that Jesus is the highest Jew misses the point in that he made it clear that his constituency was far wider than the Jewish people alone.

Maybe in religious circles, but you are suggesting that this is science, and in science that's not how it's done. In science you give a brief account of your findings, and the area in which they've been made (which you've done, lovely). Then, in more detail, you describe the hypothesis you're testing, the experiment(s) you've performed to do so, the circumstances that might have affected the findings, the data recovered and the statistical or mathematical processes you've operated on it to validate or refute your hypothesis. That's what I'm asking for.
There are much greater issues involved here and I will do it by righteous prompting and not negative overbearing...
If it's that great an issue then getting the detail right is surely important. There is nothing 'overbearing' about putting your data in the public arena so it can be adequately reviewed.
I have told you all exactly how you can participate in this science...
And I've pointed out, repeatedly, that stealing terminology from scientific findings and randomly inserting them into mystic woo a la Depak Chopra doesn't turn mysticism into science, it turns pseudoscience into jargon-riddled pseudoscience.
by peeling back iniquity and finding out, and acting upon, the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ.
I fail to understand how 'iniquity' interacts with any nutrients within the body, but I'm sure the data you will be releasing imminently will make it abundantly clear...

Rose, Hope, trippymonkey, Floo:
Rose...Salvation is in Jesus Christ...I can only suggest...but what I suggest is this...that you start by reading the Gospels and allow Jesus' righteous teaching to wash over you. Adopt the meekness that he leads us all into and allow adjustments to be made in your attitude so that your thinking is in tune with his righteousness. Don't expect to get it right first time but don't let another's reasoning overpower what Jesus actually says and does...Iniquity can come from many sources, including the various churches and even from me. Righteousness is a code of behaviour not an attitude of 'I am better than you' ...a code of behaviour that allows us to quench our deepest inner thirsts from God's fountain of living waters.
Hope...Jesus tells us what Jesus means and it is best to be guided by him by our own individual analysis...not what others tell you.
Floo...It helps to understand me if you read the Gospels with an open mind. A closed mind simply doesn't get the feeling of hope, compassion, promise or relief from the written word because without a meek and prayerful approach you cannot absorb the righteous fruits on offer.
trippymonkey...I have my preference but any of the main-stream Holy Bibles are adequate. The message leaps out from the pages because it is written in righteous speak and only becomes blurred when iniquity slips in their unwritten subtle adjustments.
-

If you want to choose to believe that Hope, that's up to you. It just sounds like a convenient excuse to do away with any sense of responsibility or compassion by Christians.
Blame the people themselves for their fate ..... Burning in hell for eternity and Christians can just turn around and say, well they asked for it.
People said the same thing about the Jews and the holocaust.
I don't believe atheists deserve to be separated from God for eternity, or anything else for that matter, just because they are atheists.
The Christian God is supposed to be love.
It's not very loving to cast off people with the excuse that it's their own choice.
It's an excuse, to accept the unacceptable IMO.
-
The problem with the term 'eternal damnation' is that Biblically it refers to something that humans choose, as opposed to something that God does.
Which would be a valid point if God were open about his dealings, but this hiding away business and making the 'choice' one of belief (which can't actually be chosen) kind of makes this moral paragon look like he's acting in bad faith.
It is eternal separation from God, and is dependent on choices that each human makes during ther earthly life.
And that justifies eternal punishment? Not even a crime, just 'not believing something for which the evidence is unconvincing' is enough to earn an eternal punishment?
To suggest that ED 'doesn't suit anyone', is therefore wrong, as people consciously make such decisions.
No, they don't. No-one consciously decides to accept eternal damnation, they either believe in it, in which case they avoid it, or they don't believe it, in which case (according to some accounts) they are condemned to it. Beliefs are not a choice.

Outrider, Rose:
You see what happens when you decide there is no God or, if there is, he would do things your way...You don't send your son too suffer a vicious and spiteful death without there being solid reason behind it and part of that multi-faceted reason is to show us just how vicious and spiteful people can be. There are people alive today who have suffered via that vicious and spiteful way so horrifically that only a fair and honest Judgement could remedy the wrongs inflicted against them but God's hands are tied because never again will he do to the people what his great flood did...No...his plan is to let the vicious and spiteful lead this planet into a state of near destruction and then Almighty God will recover it along with all those who have upbuilt within their own being a righteous spirit.
Like the innocent those sufficiently repentant will be counted as innocent and will enjoy resurrection and subsequently everlasting life, because this is the natural result of God's righteous science...the science drawn from the unification of all the universal forces and which is the only science that can answer all of modern sciences unknowns. The only science that complies with Biblical teaching and which ensures that Jesus will endure long after the great tribulations that are swallowing us all up now and from which the vicious and the spiteful will receive their full Judgement.
-
Hope...Jesus tells us what Jesus means and it is best to be guided by him by our own individual analysis...not what others tell you.
NM, perhaps you haven't noticed the irony of what you have said here. As you say, it is not necessarily a good idea to take what others tell one as gospel, and having read said Gospels, not to mention the New Testament as a whole and the Old Testament for contextual understanding, several times, I'm afraid that I have to say that I can find what you seem to want the Bible to mean, absolutely nowhere in said Bible - and certainly not in anything that Jesus says. Furthermore, what you are arguing wouldn't be deemed to be mainstream understanding or even that of many of the more extreme groups.
-
And that justifies eternal punishment? Not even a crime, just 'not believing something for which the evidence is unconvincing' is enough to earn an eternal punishment?
If I, as a son was to have told my parents that I wanted nothing to do with them for the rest of my life - let alone theirs - would it have been athem punishing me if they had agreed to honour that choise I'd made? Those who choose to deny the existence or salvation of God are making a similar decision. Is it acceptable for God to overrule the decision a human makes during their lifetime?
No, they don't. No-one consciously decides to accept eternal damnation, they either believe in it, in which case they avoid it, or they don't believe it, in which case (according to some accounts) they are condemned to it. Beliefs are not a choice.
The Bible is clear that there are a number of options here, O. Those humans who, for whatever reason, have never heard the name and acts of Jesus will be judged on the strength of their actions during their lives. Those who hear of Jesus' acts on their behalf and consciously choose not to accept the gift of salvation will be judged on that choice; those who hear and accept will be judged on that choice. However, Jesus also makes it clear in the famous passage towards the end of Matthew's Gospel that not everyone who claims his name will be accepted; and goes onto explain that this will occur where the person is only a follower in name but not in action.
I do find it hypocritical when folk like yourself seem so determined to be allowed into eternal life with God that you argue that it is unfair of God to judge you by what you decide whilst alive.

You have assumed that all non religious people are vicious and spiteful.
But actually it was the religious who wanted Jesus crucified.
And there have been too many occasions in history when it has been Christians who have tortured and been spiteful and vicious.
It's spiteful and vicious to shut out people purely because they don't happen to believe in God. Given the role religion has played in the past it's not really surprising people reject it.
It was spiteful and vicious of God to send his son in the first place, with an implied threat IMO.
If God created man, and man is imperfect then it is about time God took some responsibility for his own failures IMO.
Sitting back and thinking I am saved while telling myself others who don't accept the same beliefs as me ask for what they get , is not acceptable to me.
A spiteful and vicious God is one that blames his own failings on his creations and excludes those who make a wrong choice.
An Athiest who makes a selfless sacrifice, say gives his life to save a child, does not deserve an eternity of being excluded by some egotistical God.
An atheist is as valuable and worthy as any Christian, IMO.
If this God is so egotistical and bigoted, What's the point?
Perhaps Christians ought to be renamed " the minions" because they'll follow anything.
Because IMO this Christian claptrap about athiests being deserving of exclusion, is vicious and egotistical, and devalues what is good about the Christian message.
>:(
Seriously, Jesus made his disciples fishers of men I don't think he was looking for those that are happy to see others burn or be excluded......
IMO It's a selfish thing, to write off people that way.

A bit like the witch burners who claimed burning people alive at the stake was good for their soul.

I need to get reading specs, that thumb up looked like you were giving Shaker the American middle finger.

The problem with the term 'eternal damnation' is that Biblically it refers to something that humans choose, as opposed to something that God does.
Incorrect. I never chose to obey his rules and it was his choice to punish me with eternal damnation because I transgressed them, not mine.
-
I'm sure you are right Outrider...but the boss I am taking my lead from says...'Do it my way.'
Yes but whatever way your dos is telling you to do "it", don't call it science because it is not science.

Rose, jeremyp, Hope:
Rose...Without you even bothering to read what is in the Holy Bible you condemn me for saying what Jesus told us...that there will be a resurrection when all (the quick and the dead) will be called back to God's Judgement Seat...some will go on to everlasting life and others to eternal damnation...no middle path on offer. This is what happens when evil plunders a wonderful place, they leave it totally devastated and evil is certainly rendering this planet unfit for human consumption. So...the Bible says of this time...nation will rise against nation, their will be food shortages and earthquakes in diverse places and much much more, all happening on a global scale and, even now, getting worse day by day. So, here's your choice...just take what comes because your faith is in the forces that have a proven track record of lying and deceiving on a daily basis or take faith in the one man that lived by a science...a science that proves the spiritual forces of a powerful God and which offers resurrection...a science that says the universe and all its laws are the result of a superabundant, invisible material already detected by modern science but harnessed, fine-tuned, and a powerful life supporting property owned by Almighty God and delivered to us by Jesus Christ.
One option offers everlasting life the other eternal damnation...the middle road doesn't exist so no righteous preparation means the same for all who fail a simple righteous test...Not because of Jesus Christ but because you refuse his righteous help.
jeremyp...As above.
Hope...As above.

Swearing isn't considered very righteous and neither is condemning Almighty God without justification. If you explore the science you find that for anyone of us to have life we have to have a spirit. That spirit is either weak or strong or something in between. Jesus teaches us how to upbuild a strong righteous spirit which carries our individual profile and can be resurrected. Yours, at the moment, is not very powerful and incapable of resurrection...because of this it is prone to genetic manipulation and as we all now know imperfect genetics can go a bit wild.
Jesus warned us that a weak spirit will be unable to make resurrection and told us how to put that right...failure or success is down to you/us...eternal damnation is the curse of an unresurrected spirit...according to the science and Jesus Christ, anyway...it is what Judgement is all about and why I am telling you this is so that you can repent...that is an act of loving kindness on my part, though you wont see it that way.
Goodnight.
-
Oh YEAH You're SO loving you give off this ridiculous idea !?!?!!?
I'd love to see you up against a Muslim, just as self deluded as yourself !!!

I don't give a monkey's about righteousness, and any decent person should condemn the deity if the deeds attributed had any credence!

The problem here is that how can a Muslim, a Jew, a Christian or indeed an Atheist deny a universal science owned by a universal God and delivered to us by his much loved, only begotten son...Jesus Christ??
So, ok, ithat science is a little above your comprehension as yet but it will be the only way forward after all evil and all their blood brothers have rendered this planet uninhabitable. Those are the ones you and Floo should direct your anger towards not those who lovingly try to bring you knowledge that will help us through these terrible times.
Still...just as all those who have suffered delivering Jesus accurate word...those who fail in the resurrection can enjoy the fruits of their own labours which, in both instances, we are all working so industrially to secure. For some, it will mean resurrection and everlasting life...for others it will mean flitting around the Earth's global ether, out of harms way...and never again will anyone living have the desire to interact with that ether.
-
for others it will mean flitting around the Earth's global ether, out of harms way...and never again will anyone living have the desire to interact with that ether.
If that were factual and not merely the product of your overactive imagination, I believe it to be, that sounds wonderful, much better than heaven! ;D
-

You have added your own little expectation there Floo...but being tossed around like so much litter without anyone to give you hope sounds pretty dismal to me and deserving of the title...eternal damnation. If Almighty God is going to raise the 'quick and the dead' from there for his final generation...which, I suspect, is this generation...then other than resurrection there can be no other escape. I am glad I realised in time.

-
And you expect to be 'raised' do you? Well you could be in for a shock if you are erased instead! ;D
The science says that erasure is impossible. It's either eternal damnation or resurrection...and either of those is possible unless we follow Jesus Christ accurately. This is where Jesus descended to when he snatched the keys of life and death from Satan...which means he opened a door in this ether which otherwise ensured we all had the same fate. He then returned to his own deceased flesh and returned to life under some very special terms and conditions. We, being sinners, wont have that ability...we have to return to a new vessel in a new generation but the scientific principle is still valid.
So...whether innocently taken by war or from the culmination of our own sins the resurrection is still possible...but only for those who have adopted righteous laws which induces innocence and innocence also offers resurrection...so our children, even without realising it, have this promise too.
Now...the science cannot fail...and the science states clearly that Jesus Christ was invoking a universal science which works because Almighty God has the keys to an indestructible force that dictates every scientific law...good, or bad.

My science confirms the Gospels. It says that the things you have been besmirching now for many years has a bona-fide science behind it which will not fail. Either we work to good order and righteousness and see the full fruits of the science which Jesus Christ describes as everlasting life and which must by default include all genetic repair...or else the alternative...eternal damnation...which isn't really given much description because of its horrible nature.
The choice, at the moment , Floo, is yours.

Your make believe 'science', which isn't science, might confirm the gospels, real science doesn't!
I make a point of not going round and round in circles Floo...It is spiritually destructive and if you have no intentions of saving yourself...who am I to disagree. The science is indisputable. It is built on top of modern science and reduces the power that built the universe into a simple property of profound properties. This is how a Biblical leader can claim to have created the universe because he owns that property and all rights appertaining to it. Christians and Muslims have found great faith in that knowledge and along with the Jews who carried that knowledge from the very beginning make the number who are relying upon Almighty God to save us from our very complex and destructive future, many, many, millions...you, on the other hand are supporting a clan who will, at the appointed time, wish they had listened by the same faith that tells us that even your science is a million light-years from knowing everything.
Here will be the weeping and gnashing of teeth...when we realise the Gospel teaching is proven but it is too late to repent.
-
NM you go round and round in circles all the time spouting your daft 'science', which isn't science nonsense. I don't think you have a single supporter of your garbage on this forum or possibly anywhere else on this planet! If that is the case that should tell you something, or maybe you regard yourself as the only person with the 'truth', in which case some medic help might be advisable!

Let's analyse the bits you don't like Floo.
Well...you certainly don't like Jesus Christ...do you?
You don't want anything to do with a caring and loving way of life as introduced by a loving God from the recovery of this planet which has contained a faith as a world-wide force of people right up to the present day...do you??
You don't like your modern science because it says everything is energy and you dislike, intensely, the fact that this is contained in a 6000 year old statement written in Isaiah...do you??
and you certainly will not take on any notion that all these things can unify into one set of laws which states...plainly...that following Jesus Christ accurately introduces a new unified science which explains modern science much more accurately...will you??
Perhaps you don't like the idea that UFOs are visiting this planet and that many people are reporting great evil about them...but you certainly wont accept the principle that Almighty God warned us about them and that he can control them if we follow his laws accurately...will you??
That just leaves World War 3...which Almighty God and his son, Jesus Christ, warned us about, and told us plainly that it will ultimately be a battle between Almighty God and Satan...so, as I see it...you will come to believe in your God as time progresses towards God's final Judgement...Let's hope you don't leave it too late.

This is the first time in absolutely ages that I have looked on the Jewish Topic and I ask, "Where are the Jewish posters?" On the old BBC forum, of which this is supposed to be a copy, the Jewish Topic was interesting and lively - and no-one was supposed to go on there to try to convert them.
Well, if anyone on here is trying to convert Jews their words are falling on deaf ears because the Jews are not in the building. I don't blame them.

Thank you for your comments Brownie...you may have noticed that the Jewish section is unused by anyone and I thought I might stimulate a little discussion with the Jews by showing that Jesus was a Jew. He didn't leave the Jewish faith he laid down a new covenant...for the same God they believe in...and so I am entitled to show them how to reach over the dummy ceiling that their Jewish leadership has imposed upon them. It is the same dummy ceiling that all atheists want to impose and really it is the same artificial screening that all oppressive powers put above the heads of the people they want to control...The only problem with this is science...and science is revealing that all laws in the whole universe are electrical/spiritual laws and to reach into these laws we need the God of the Jews and Jesus Christ.
It doesn't matter how many times Floo or Outrider scream their viewpoints the fact remains that the only way forward from the incredible complexities that evil is imposing upon us all, whether Jew, Muslim, Christian, or Atheist, is the righteous science of Almighty God as taught to us by his only begotten son, Jesus Christ.

As I didn't know Jesus who died over 2000 years ago I have no idea if I would have liked him or not!
I don't like you twisting science for your own ends!
Worst of all I don't like you threatening people with abusive garbage! WW3 isn't mentioned in the Bible, you are a liar if you state it is! People like you who threaten people with hell and damnation could frighten the vulnerable and gullible, which is emotional abuse. My nasty b*tch of a paternal grandmother did that to me as a child, and I had years of horrible nightmares until I was old enough to realise that there was no evidence to support any of that cr*p! >:(
You might find yourself barred from the heaven you crave if you carry on as you do, and Jesus wants nothing to do with you, should he be around in the ether somewhere!

Only a select few are going to Heaven Floo...the rest of us have got to make do with Jesus righteous science...so it is in our own interest to guard against the time when nation will rise against nation and the entire world is dragged into yet another world war prophesied by Atheists, Bible Students, and many more besides the Holy Bible.
Any study of Jesus Christ's accurate teaching shows it is a loving message built around the reality of evil and it strikes mee your grandmother was getting her understanding from iniquity which is why you must break away from such influences and embrace the Highest Jew.
Got to go.

He is a Pagan, isn't he?
Yes he is ...... But if you look at post 33 from Owlswing
I was born a JEW! I count ancestors who died in Auschwitz and I do not need some half-arsed Christian telling me that I need saving by the Christian God whose Catholic followers aided and abetted the escape of some of those who perpetrated that horror!
Many Jews say the qualification for a Jewish person is, if his mother was Jewish he also qualifies for being Jewish.
It may well be if he chose to drop Paganism and take up the fact he was born a Jew, it's possible he would not need to go through the whole conversion process.
Thats what I meant by he is our nearest Jewish poster.
Presumably he is very happy with the way he is :)

Rose, Floo:
From my point of view the message is clear...everyone needs spiritual support...even Atheism is a type of spiritual support because they must slam the existence of Almighty God and that is in itself an inner response to an inner spiritual need. The Jews had the same spiritual need which moulded a people from their roots in slavery and brought them to the 21st century. The Christians, likewise, follow Jesus to support their inner spiritual strength and the many different and strange expressions of spiritual need have dominated peoples lives from all sorts of Pagan religions and its brother religion in deceit the ancient Egyptian religions of the many gods...all for the purpose of controlling peoples minds and as Floo correctly points out...by enforcing fear into the hearts and minds of the people they want to deceive...This, according to Jesus' righteous science is oppression.
This is the difference with Jesus Christ's teaching...he came from God and showed us God's mighty power through miracles and gentle teachings...and of course dying for those beliefs and thereby scientifically proving the mechanics behind resurrection which is the birth-stone behind accurate Christian teaching.
So, in our midst ever since has been the fruits of Jesus' teaching...God's fountain of living water...his Mighty Strength that built all the stars and galaxies and which we can harness to bring the world back under control...if not in everyone else's lives then certainly in our own lives and it all starts and ends with Jesus' accurate righteous science.
Now if some have told you to follow them whilst following Jesus they usually earn a good wage and some useful prestige but there way is iniquity...and you should strive to do better than that by doing your own sincere study of Almighty God's and Jesus' accurate word.

Your opinion NM is not the opinion of other posters, even Christians, as it makes no sense whatsoever. If I were you I would rest your posting fingers as no one is taking you seriously. With each post your statements are more and more ludicrous! ::)

Thank you for your suggestion Floo...but I have much more to point out on behalf of the man that was crucified because people refused to listen to him but who now kneel down too and have done for the past 2000 years wishing that he would return.
The only way to gain spiritual fulfilment is to absorb it from 'God's Fountain of Living Waters'...and the only way to do this is to follow the way, the truth, and the life of Jesus Christ, accurately. So...what all you spiritual seekers have sought after since the beginning of time was right in front of you and repairing our genetics from the abuses inflicted upon them is its speciality. It is well known that strong mental attitude is a wonderful tonic when faced with distress and here is how to achieve it...follow the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ and become strong like the Jews became strong...even without their saviour.

You see what happens when you decide there is no God or, if there is, he would do things your way...
No, I see what happens when there are no gods, or when the gods there are decide to be cryptic and hide from sight to leave their existence in doubt.
You don't send your son too suffer a vicious and spiteful death without there being solid reason behind it and part of that multi-faceted reason is to show us just how vicious and spiteful people can be.
I've no reason to believe that happened.
There are people alive today who have suffered via that vicious and spiteful way so horrifically that only a fair and honest Judgement could remedy the wrongs inflicted against them but God's hands are tied because never again will he do to the people what his great flood did...
So you think that an all-powerful being only has two settings: annihilation of everything or sit back and watch...
No...his plan is to let the vicious and spiteful lead this planet into a state of near destruction and then Almighty God will recover it along with all those who have upbuilt within their own being a righteous spirit.
And those in the middle? Those who are neither gullible nor malicious?
Like the innocent those sufficiently repentant will be counted as innocent and will enjoy resurrection and subsequently everlasting life, because this is the natural result of God's righteous science...the science drawn from the unification of all the universal forces and which is the only science that can answer all of modern sciences unknowns. The only science that complies with Biblical teaching and which ensures that Jesus will endure long after the great tribulations that are swallowing us all up now and from which the vicious and the spiteful will receive their full Judgement.
Science... you keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means. Science, though it's tempting to think it sometimes, does not mean facts. Science is a process by which we learn things about how reality probably works - it is a methodology, with methodological rules and practices that your account fails to comply with.
That does not make your account wrong, intrinsically, but it does mean that it's not science.

So when are you going to sell and give away everything you have ( including your computer ) and live the life Jesus spoke of? Become a wanderer and follow Jesus?
Matthew 19.21
…20The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?" 21Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." 22But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.…
You tell us to, well what about you?
Is it all just words? Or are you going to do what he asked to become complete?
Chop chop!

You stare at the universe daily Outrider and all its many sciences that brought you into existence and you support your sciences to the hilt which say that you and the entire universe came from an eruption that was no bigger than a dot too tiny to see but was held under so much gravity that the universe was inevitable. I question this science of yours because it doesn't make sense but I have Biblically ascertained that there is a material that existed before the big-bang and, using the Holy Bible realised that this is Almighty God's starting point. So...I will follow my lead-scientist and you can follow yours...mine promises a science that will lead to everlasting life...here, on planet Earth, in the flesh but, I must endure the pains and the distresses that your scientists will inflict upon the planet first...best summed up as World War 3.
My faith remains with Almighty God who, it seems, has all universal problems under control, especially the impending danger from the scavengers of outer-space who want to pick up the salvage afterwards.

If I, as a son was to have told my parents that I wanted nothing to do with them for the rest of my life - let alone theirs - would it have been athem punishing me if they had agreed to honour that choise I'd made?
That's not what's happening, though. You're suggesting that God is there to talk to, but it isn't, and it certainly doesn't talk back - there is no dialogue, no communication, no possibility to query.
Those who choose to deny the existence or salvation of God are making a similar decision. Is it acceptable for God to overrule the decision a human makes during their lifetime?
No, we aren't. If there's a God, it's hiding. If we can't find something that's hiding, how is that our fault?
The Bible is clear that there are a number of options here, O.
And the Qu'Ran is equally clear. As is the Bagavad Gita, and the traditions of Buddhism and Taoism and Jainism and the stories of the Australian aborigines and the Maoris and the Native Americans... and all with equally little justification. Clarity isn't the problem, justification is the problem. Why should I accept the Biblical claims rather than the Book of Mormon or Scientology or Islam?
Those humans who, for whatever reason, have never heard the name and acts of Jesus will be judged on the strength of their actions during their lives. Those who hear of Jesus' acts on their behalf and consciously choose not to accept the gift of salvation will be judged on that choice; those who hear and accept will be judged on that choice.
So I can be equally decent a person, but because I don't believe an unbelievable story - not that it's a choice, even, what we believe - I'm condemned to eternal punishment? And you're fine with this, this is a reasonable set-up as far as you're concerned?
However, Jesus also makes it clear in the famous passage towards the end of Matthew's Gospel that not everyone who claims his name will be accepted; and goes onto explain that this will occur where the person is only a follower in name but not in action.
Oh, that makes it fine, then. Arseholes and decent people who aren't gullible belong in the same bucket... nice.
I do find it hypocritical when folk like yourself seem so determined to be allowed into eternal life with God that you argue that it is unfair of God to judge you by what you decide whilst alive.
On the contrary, if I found myself before God I'd make a case based on what kind of a person I was in life - I don't expect to be allowed into eternal life because I don't believe in eternal life. I make a case that this description of a system isn't consistent with the idea of a God that loves us, a God that is fair and decent - we can only be held accountable for our choices if they are informed, and we can't be informed about God because, if it exists, it's hiding.
O.

You stare at the universe daily Outrider and all its many sciences that brought you into existence and you support your sciences to the hilt which say that you and the entire universe came from an eruption that was no bigger than a dot too tiny to see but was held under so much gravity that the universe was inevitable.
Your grasp of gravity is questionable, but more importantly it wasn't science that governed the early universe. Natural laws govern the universe, science is a method by which we try to discover those natural laws. Science is a human practice, not a description of a property of reality.
I question this science of yours because it doesn't make sense but I have Biblically ascertained that there is a material that existed before the big-bang and, using the Holy Bible realised that this is Almighty God's starting point. You have a 'science' that doesn't have testable evidence of observable phenomena - that's pretty much the antithesis of scientific enquiry.
My faith remains with Almighty God who, it seems, has all universal problems under control, especially the impending danger from the scavengers of outer-space who want to pick up the salvage afterwards.
And that's absolutely fine - I'm perfectly happy with you having whatever faith you want, and faith in whatever you'd like to think will happen. It's when you mistakenly claim that it's science and cheapen the incredible work of some of the giants of history that I take issue with your claims.

I think there is enough scientific evidence to state clearly that the universe is the product of a profound science...which...unfortunately...for disbelievers, anyway...was extracted from all its complexities by Almighty God and delivered to us, via its most important form, by Jesus Christ. All chemistry and physics tell us about this scientific route and so does the Holy Bible.
Gravity is the friction of two dimensions being disturbed by mass so I think I have that one all sewn up...especially the point that, like Jesus, who walked on water, we present ourselves to the forces of Earth's gravity in a number of different ways and absorb a number of different pressures upon the furls and folds of our delicate tissue structures. We generally start life gravitationally buoyant, happy, and healthy, but, by the time we have finished burning off our electric resistance we finish up druggies, couch-potatoes, miserable, with poor blood circulation...and little seems to help.
Well, we could, scientifically, lift some of this excessive, gravitational burden by following the man who walked on water...accurately...but there is much more to him than that.

It isn't possible to walk on water, anymore than it is possible for Father Christmas and his reindeer to fly all around the world dropping off pressies for kids in one night! OH WHOOPS maybe NM still believes in Santa, and he has a 'scientific'/ 'accurate' explanation for how he does it! ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I think there is enough scientific evidence to state clearly that the universe is the product of a profound science...
No, the only thing that is a product of science is our expression of (probable) natural laws. The natural laws themselves may well be profound, and it is they that result in the universe.
which...unfortunately...for disbelievers, anyway...was extracted from all its complexities by Almighty God and delivered to us, via its most important form, by Jesus Christ.
That's your faith position. I can tell it's a faith position and not a scientific finding by the abject lack of methodology or evidence that you've cited to support it.
All chemistry and physics tell us about this scientific route and so does the Holy Bible.
Chemistry yes. Physics yes. Holy Bible no.
Gravity is the friction of two dimensions being disturbed by mass so I think I have that one all sewn up...
The prevailing scientific understanding is that gravity is the distortion of space-time by the accumulation of Higgs Bosons - no other 'dimensions' are involved. As I said previously, your understanding of gravity appears to be lacking.
especially the point that, like Jesus, who walked on water, we present ourselves to the forces of Earth's gravity in a number of different ways and absorb a number of different pressures upon the furls and folds of our delicate tissue structures.
Uh... no. The only ways we've evidence for that we can change the way gravity acts upon us is to a) move further away from objects or b) make significant changes to the rate at which we move through space.
We generally start life gravitationally buoyant, happy, and healthy, but, by the time we have finished burning off our electric resistance we finish up druggies, couch-potatoes, miserable, with poor blood circulation...and little seems to help.
Just unmitigated word-salad. A meaningless conglomeration of barely related concepts with no framework to justify attempting to claim that they interact.
Well, we could, scientifically, lift some of this excessive, gravitational burden by following the man who walked on water...accurately...but there is much more to him than that.
Except that a) there's no reason to believe that actually happened and b) our attitude doesn't affect the gravitational effects upon our body or vice versa.

The Biblical authors had no knowledge of science so cannot be blamed for imagining how the world might have been created, even if we now know it to be completely erroneous!

Well, according to Matthew 7, Hope is wrong on this too. It's seems the criteria are extremely inscrutable - not just a case of belief but no action, since in the following, the 'damned' appeared to have both believed and acted on that belief:
"[21]"Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
[22] On that day many will say to me, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?'
[23] And then will I declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.' "

Floo, Rose, Outrider:
My favourite Biblical verse is...Look into the heavens, who created these thing? With the superabundance of his dynamic energy (Mighty Power) each one is named and not one is missing. (Isaiah 40:26)...from this statement I have engineered a wonderful science which states clearly that Almighty God was working with a superabundant material when he created the universe.
How did he create it??
He broke the profound secret that even today modern science hungers and thirsts after but God was in Heaven.
And how did he claim ownership over it??
He lived a righteous pattern of life that is dictated to an honest person who strives for goodness in a universe filled with this indestructible energy.
And how can we be certain of this??
Because Jesus Christ brought that science from Heaven and lived by those same laws on Earth and received the same thanks which is an eternal link with that same power and everlasting life.
How does that benefit us??
Because embodied in his teaching is genetic repair...resurrection...and everlasting life...here in the flesh on planet Earth...but it will be hard work because, those who are ruining the Earth will have one last mighty swing at destroying it and will pretty near succeed.

My favourite book is Lord of the Rings, but I don't try to work out how Sauron made the One Ring, because it's not an historical account.
He broke the profound secret that even today modern science hungers and thirsts after but God was in Heaven.
And then you close the book, and reality happens.

Why does it matter? As well asking how Belgarion managed to communicate with the Orb of Aldur.
He lived a righteous pattern of life that is dictated to an honest person who strives for goodness in a universe filled with this indestructible energy.
And poor Brian just wanted to be left alone, but ended up crucified in the middle of an impromptu choir.
And how can we be certain of this??
We can't, because there's no evidence to support the claims.

I like LOTR too 😀
Like many stories of good verses evil we can bounce it off each other to explore issues.
The fact it isn't literally true is irrelevant.
It's a meeting of the minds to explore good and evil.
Ok it doesn't explore a lot of issues, but stories do explore different issues and conflicts and life in general.
Harry Potter can be seen in the same light ;D

I don't bother with such books...The Holy Bible gives us life as it really is and tells us how to harness a wonderful, space-age future providing we adjust our thinking to thinking akin to Jesus Christ. I have explained that Jesus' teaching is supported by a vital, life-supporting science but that is too much for you to accept but whether Jew, Christian or Atheist you are all the product of complex and profound spiritual laws and there is no escaping that fact...not even if we fail God's Judgement.

I can see you haven't actually read what Jesus says about giving up everything and following him.

I'm sad that you're so focussed on the next world - an idea for which we have no reasonable justification - that you might be missing out on the wonders of this one. You've obviously heard of the majesty of scientific enquiry, you can feel the excitement it generates, and you try to harness it to other things that brighten your life. Explore science on its own merits, see how it compares to mysticism - even if you don't change your beliefs, you'll perhaps appreciate this life more - I'm not asking you to not consider it God's creation, just appreciate it for the way it works.
Can that be a bad thing?

No, you haven't 'explained', you've just claimed. Other people have made similar claims in other books, but you've not read them so you've no ability to compare. In isolation, I suppose Spot the Dog could seem profound (Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy would blow your mind!!!)... In context, though, the Holy Bible is decidedly lacking.
How fragile is your 'truth' if it can't stand up to exposure to other ideas?

SweetPea, Floo, Rose, Outrider:
SweetPea...Thankyou.
Floo...The evidence is there for all to see. You have fallen out with iniquity and blame every Christian for it but if you read the Holy Bible as I suggest, starting with the Gospels, you will get a much more accurate take on what it is all about and maybe even you will see the simple fact that one pure energy is the powerhouse behind Almighty God which he uses to build atoms, stars, galaxies, life and every science known to man and some not yet even discovered...and some only seen, as yet, via miracles.
Rose...If you have no intention of looking into the teaching of Jesus Christ why should it bother you whether I am minted or indeed stony broke? Jesus said to the people who wanted to follow him to Heaven that these were the burdens of his existence which was required for total and absolute righteousness and anyone who wanted that righteous standing with Almighty God that he enjoyed with his father must sell all that they owned and follow him. Well, I certainly know what being stony broke is like and I know that Jesus Christ showed me why I was stony broke and lifted me out of that situation so I am not completely blind to the pains, fears, and distresses, that the poor experience and the couldn't care less attitudes of the more wealthy, and, of course, the tightening screw of certain governments so that their followers can rub their hands with glee as more and more people fall into the poverty trap. Even so, I'm not planning to go to Heaven where those who follow Jesus accurately are going...I aim to stay here on planet Earth and shepherd in the faithful who have earned everlasting life here, in the flesh,on planet Earth, whilst the not-so-faithful weep and gnash their teeth knowing they have missed their final call.
If you don't want to miss your final call Rose then follow Jesus Christ accurately...and start with the things that are easier than the things which you feel is outside your ability at the moment.
Outrider...It is pointless saying yet again that the science is proven by the calculations, observations and data of all the scientists that have gone before because the calculations of these people support everything I say about science and even they will have to concede that if there is 93% of the universe not seen then there is a strong chance that the 7% is made from it and I have shown over and over that there is a line of logic which agrees with that understanding. It shows how galaxies, stars atoms and life could exist in the way that it does and why science and evolution exist and why the Holy Bible can be seen as a trusted and reliable introduction to the unification of all science and all scientific forces...but why bother when I know that as much interest that you will give it is to bat it back with some form of insult against me...your God and the most precious being that ever walked on this planet...Jesus Christ.
-

Yes, it's pointless to just say it over and over and over and claim that's science. I agree that there is a perfectly valid logical strand to what you say, and the next step of the scientific process is for you to produce the calculations you keep suggesting that you've made.
It shows how galaxies, stars atoms and life could exist in the way that it does and why science and evolution exist and why the Holy Bible can be seen as a trusted and reliable introduction to the unification of all science and all scientific forces...
It might show that. It might not. I have no idea, because you refuse to publish them.
...but why bother when I know that as much interest that you will give it is to bat it back with some form of insult against me...
I think you're being unfair. I've treated everything you've posted with an open mind - when you claim science I point why what you are saying isn't science, and offer you recommendations on how you can make it so. I've not dismissed your comments out of hand, despite the fact that continuously misrepresent your assertions as scientific. And I don't believe I've insulted you either, though it's possible that I've given in to the frustrations of dealing with your obdurate nature.
your God and the most precious being that ever walked on this planet...Jesus Christ.
Jesus might be the most precious thing that walked the planet as far as you're concerned, but I have a wife and children to think of before I even get close to thinking about the possibilities of a man who to a lesser or greater extent an incredible story might have been based upon.

Floo...The evidence is there for all to see. You have fallen out with iniquity and blame every Christian for it but if you read the Holy Bible as I suggest, starting with the Gospels, you will get a much more accurate take on what it is all about and maybe even you will see the simple fact that one pure energy is the powerhouse behind Almighty God which he uses to build atoms, stars, galaxies, life and every science known to manand some not yet even discovered...and some only seen, as yet, via miracles.
I have read the gospels many times, and don't take them as the gospel 'truth'! They were written many years after Jesus was long dead, and cannot be said to be 'accurate' in any shape or form as the events they describe are not credible or possible.
the simple fact that one pure energy is the powerhouse behind Almighty God which he uses to build atoms, stars, galaxies, life and every science known to man
That is NOT a fact, just something you want to believe is true! ::)

Floo, Outrider:
If you were bothering to think before you attacked you would know...as would Outrider, that calculated logic built on top of modern science has enormous scientific support. It is a shame you both just want to go around in circles, spitting out bile, but I have seen this before and wish you both well with it. As for me I will continue with the science that has sprung out of this Biblical, unification science and which explains things that are very close to every ones hearts...but don't expect me to go through all this dross when I choose my path of presentation. The science, Almighty God, the faithful and Jesus Christ are far more important than those who prefer to slag the only authority that can offer any help through the impending dangers we all face today.

Yes it does. If you listened to anything outside of your Bible you'd realise that you can't just claim 'science', science is a process that includes critical peer review: your claim needs to be put, in detail, to the field for comment. You're so far failing to do that.
It is a shame you both just want to go around in circles, spitting out bile, but I have seen this before and wish you both well with it.
I have no capacity to move forward from this circle - I can either leave with no answers or keep asking you for the data behind your claims of science. You have the capacity to move this forward by explaining the 'science' of your claim.
As for me I will continue with the science that has sprung out of this Biblical, unification science and which explains things that are very close to every ones hearts...but don't expect me to go through all this dross when I choose my path of presentation.
That 'dross' is the science. If you want to suggest that you think God is a scientists and you're taking his claims on faith that's fine, then all I need to do is wait for God to publish his findings in a scientific form - before you start, the Bible is not a scientific paper.
The science, Almighty God, the faithful and Jesus Christ are far more important than those who prefer to slag the only authority that can offer any help through the impending dangers we all face today.
That's entirely possible. Or they could be the creations of (comparatively) scientifically ignorant people from a much earlier culture which have been selectively re-interpreted in light of later, actually scientific, findings.
Once you or God publishes your findings we'll be able to make that determination, but until then it remains just your assertion.
