Racists feel it is now socially acceptable to just come straight out with it.
Long-time closet bigot Farmer Geddon said: “All this ‘I’m not a racist, but… ” stuff?
Of course, we were racists. It was a charade we had to play out. But no more.
“It used to be that you couldn’t say anything, you know what I mean, otherwise, the PC Brigade would be on your back.
“But actually, it turns out times have changed. We’re more mainstream now. You can be racist on buses. In the streets. In newspapers. It’s fine.
“Most people don’t seem bothered. In fact, they avoid eye contact and pretend to be playing a game on their phone.
“It gives me hope that people in Britain are becoming more tolerant and accepting of racists.”
:)
Gotta love the daily mash!!

Where did you find that Thrud?

Where did you find that Thrud?
What justifiable reason is there to be a racist, I can't think of a single reason; what are you on about Thrud?

I think he was quoting something Ippy but didn't say where the quotation came from. He'll probably come back and tell us.

It's in the post, it's from the Daily Mash

O I C. I saw the reference to the Daily Mash and thought that was a nickname for something else, now I've googled ''Daily Mash''.
So there you are Ippy, it was a satirical comment from the Mash.

I think that is the point of the quotation floo, to show racists up as figures of ridicule.

I had contemplated posting a similar answer, Gonners, but decided it was too 'Schoolboy's Bumper Fun Book'. :)

Don't worry, everyone else except maybe floo knew about the ''Mash'' and I found it eventually after NS said. I did realise the quote was a spoof, just wondered where it came from.
(I even thought ''The Daily Mash'' might be a nickname for ''The Daily Mail'' :D)
