Just to say, I don't seem to be receiving notifications of PMs in my emails anymore. As I'm not posting here so much now, for various reasons, I'd like to apologise to anyone PMing me and not hearing anything back, which has happened recently.
Is this the same for other members.... not receiving email notifications of PMs? I know it is for one poster.

I have had very few PMs, SP, and couldn't remember whether or not I ever received email notification so I just sent one to myself as a test; yes, I did receive an email notifying me.

Strange, eh. As I say, I know one poster is not receiving email notifications.
It's them there Gremlins, again.

Have a look at the "Modify profile'' bit, in which there is a section for Personal Messaging. I have mine set to receiving a notification "Always", check if you have the same. There's also a box to tick if you want a pop up notification when you log on here.

Thanks for that, Brownie. I had a look at my settings and the 'notify by email' is set on 'always'.
Not to worry. As I say, this board appears to have gremlin activity at times.
It may fix itself, who knows..... stranger things have happened.

Yes it might. Though I received email notification when I did the test I honestly cannot remember having one before so you are probably not alone. I might send you a PM as a test!

Thanks again. Not that I get many PMs at all, but it's because I'm not around so much now, I wouldn't like to think someone had sent me a PM and they couldn't understand why I hadn't responded.
