That's pretty sinister.  An innocent 'echo' symbol, or hug, used by a fascist minority to denote something quite different to the original meaning.

Thanks for flagging this up.  I will certainly not use it (I don't know if I ever have), and will tell others.

Fascist groups are so subtle and insidious.

No, the idea is that you should use it. The Nazi groups use it to tag people they think should be targeted for abuse. If everybody does it, it becomes useless for that purpose.
