This seems extremely worrying. The anti vaxxer movement is filled. with a denial of fact, and a worship of anecdote.

Extremely worrying, but sadly entirely predictable.

Certainly not that as Trump seems unable to keep it in his knickers! >:(

Yes but the allegation is he had prostitutes urinate on a bed (previously) slept in by the Obamas in a hotel that was well known to be bugged by the Russian FSB. Doesn't that sound a little bit far fetched even for Trump?

As I said, nothing surprises me about that ghastly man.

It does sound a bit out there to sya the least but I did always wonder why he seemed to like Russia so much.
Meanwhile Russia is upping the ante, starting to get scary. Trump will do anything to stay in power, Russia tests him very early.

If I'm honest, no, not really.

Glad its not just me.

which is a bit of a problem since that it doesn't seem absurd means nothing is impossible

It certainly highlights the difficulty over "fake news". Once you get into these sort of realms you start to doubt everything you hear, and whilst a certain amount of skepticism is useful, nay, necessary in one's life - I'm not sure being unsure of everything is useful.
Anyway Jeremy Hunt's an alien. True fact.

That as well, obviously.

This is why he is so anti-Bill-Clinton! Two of a kind!

I'm not sure that disqualifies you from office - I was watching Dan Snow's programme last night about Lloyd-George also not renowned for keeping it in his knickers and if judged on those standards we would not have had that leader. So judgements of that type are not that useful in isolation.
To my mind it is more about the double standards and hypocrisy involved.

If he hasn't been shot soon then it means that the CIA have seriously rubbish assassins.

Yes, I was thinking that about Trump's attacks on the elite, and Clinton cronyism. As far as I can see, Trump is filling his cabinet with cronies who are billionaires. Ah but, you see, this is an anti-elitist elite.

An interesting article about the post-truth situation we find ourselves in:

I have an issue with the approach that this is (a) new but (b) it's like the 1930s. I think the problem is not so much fake news as too much news and a lack of time to find out what is true.

Surely the implication from your own sentence is that there is fake news?
I wouldn't disagree that there is too much news. There's too much of everything these days. But fake news at the levels they appear to be at - although that in itself is difficult to gauge - is very worrying.
Echoes of the 30's - don't know I was reading another article about Marine LePen - if not echoes, there is definitely a zephyr in the air.

There is undoubtedly fake news, but there has always been. That's why you can have echoes of the 30s, but if anyone can actually give me the truth on Aleppo, i have yet to find them despite scouring media.

I wonder if prof. Grayling signed off that article before it was published by the BBC?

Was listening to Radio 5 this afternoon, and the 'impeachment' phrase cropped up. Would this be the first time that a President-Elect was mentioned in the same sentence as that process?

Nope, Obama and the birther pish, as supported by the Donald, coveted this

That's easy to answer. He owes them lots of money.
Meanwhile Russia is upping the ante, starting to get scary. Trump will do anything to stay in power, Russia tests him very early.

We'll see what happens, if he withdraws the troops, we should all get worried.
-
If I'm honest, no, not really.
Here is the problem I have. I really want it to be true because I loathe Trump so much that anything that humiliates him is good IMO. But that leads me to question my acceptance of every bad story that comes up about him because I am fighting my confirmation bias.
Also, we must remember that he's in charge of a massive pile of atom bombs for the next four years. If this story is true, we need to start cacking our pants, if we haven't done already.
-
alien? I thought he was a lady garden.
It's true, I heard it on Radio 4.

FBI or DHS
The CIA is not allowed to operate inside the USA.

There lies the problem - they may NOT be ALLOWED - this does not mean that they do not!

Why? How much does he pay for that?
