That would be an example of tu quoque
Is the point valid? We have seen the outcome of term limits recently in the USA. A good president has been forced to make way for an utter tosser. As long as there are robust means to remove people who are not competent, I don't see any reason why term limits should apply to politics any more than any other walk of life.
