I find the idea of purpose here in both Hegel and Danto odd.

Part of me is sad that it doesn't suggest that what we are doing is exploring the fractal shores of art, or examining art in a world defined by the quantum and uncertainty of Schrödinger's Drawing of a Cat - but then part of me is not.
