Cult figure over here. I used to watch his films in the late 80's and early 90's. The Leningrad Cowboys are still doing gigs. Friends of mine went to see them in Germany a couple of years ago.

Good to hear that, ad_o. As someone with execrably little knowledge of Finland, is he seen as being 'typically' Finnish in his methods of film direction?
