Secular idiocy? I'm not sure it is.
Political correctness? Possibly.
Breach of copyright? Also possibly.

What has it got to do with secularism?

Shhhhh. He doesn't know what it means.

Does seem to be the case.

I'ts about the level of pratty students complaining about Verdi's great weepie Aida being "cultural appropriation".

Read some of the link, noticed another poster telling you that you don't have the slightest idea about secularism Vlad, apart from that I didn't think it was worth spending any time on such a rambling newspaper article, especially when it was from the guardian, I detest that paper.

Well Aida is cultural appropriation, as is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. The question is whether cultural appropriation is bad. I think it is obviously not bad.

With respect to Vlad's title, I am a secularist and I think the censoring of the phrase "children of Israel" is ridiculous. The whole musical is based on a Jewish myth. If you have a problem with that, do something else, like Jesus Christ Superstar.... oh, wait.
