Title: Double life or restriction of free speech?

Or something else? If the speech was legal my take is that it doesn't make a difference with the person being a teacher.

I don't see the difference between white supremacy and radical Islam. It's possible to deliver hate speech from both perspectives and still stay legal.

The Florida school shooter had received training from white supremacists. It's homegrown terrorism.

If it's terrorism then it isn't legal surely?  I am worried that we have a boundary here that has no definition here. A set of things that some people can say but others cannot. It may be something that should be addressed but that seems to me better done but making it illegal rather than this lack of clarity.

Posting on the non skin crawly Christians thread, I realise that in the circumstance a teacher arguing for paedophilia outside should be sacked, even if I think it is legal to say. Stuff like this is hard to get a clear principle on

I think the position has to taken, are these views a threat to the wellbeing of children? I would have thought all theee examples would fall short of the requirements for ensuring the safety of children is safeguarding procedures.
