This forum needs a few games, so here's one for starters. I may add more, depending on how popular this proves.
Dead simple - give the title and author(s) of a book which has some connection with the previous book. If the connection is obscure, please explain. Another book by the same author does not count as a link unless there's another link as well. Example of how it might proceed below.
Monstrous Regiment - Terry Pratchett
The First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstruous Regiment of Women -John Knox
The Scottish Regiments - Diana Henderson
44 Scotland Street - Alexander McCall Smith

Colour of Magic, The Late Great Sir Terry Pratchett.
The very first book in the Discworld series and which introduces us to Rincewind, the most cowardly hero on Discworld.
Rincewind shivered. He was not, of course, an atheist; on the Disc the gods dealt severely with atheists. On the few occasions when he had some spare change he had always made a point of dropping a few coppers into a temple coffer, somewhere, on the principle that a man needed all the friends he could get. But usually he didn't bother the Gods, and he hoped the Gods wouldn't bother him. Life was quite complicated enough.

Raising Steam-The late great Sir Terry Pratchett.
Now this book was a wonderful read if you are a fan of steam trains and a fan of Micheal Portillo's Great railway journeys, Pratchett also gives a gentle nod to Bradshaws guide which Portillo uses in his travels around our little island.
I cant say enough about this wonderful book, it is a fun read and as always with Pratchett educational, it has steam trains ( who doesn't like a steam train ) engineering, suburban expansion, terrorism, fundamentalism.

Read all four Sacred Diaries, pluss the Thynn and Veal sequals, as well as "An Alien at St Wilfreds"
I'm hooked.
Plus I use "Bacon Sandwiches and Salvation" when I'm mining quotes for sermons sometimes.

I'm an Adrian Plass fan too. Not so mad about the Adrian Mole rip offs though they are funny, prefer his other stuff.

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave
How can I love when I'm afraid
To fall
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt
Suddenly goes away somehow
One step closer
I have died every day
waiting for you
Darlin' don't be afraid
I have loved you for a
Thousand years
I'll love you for a
Thousand more
Time stands still
beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything

Oh yes that is flipping horrible, sends shivers down the spine. I'm not a censor so please excuse my ignorance here but I feel that book retailers, high street shops and online, could get together informally, agree take a moral stand and not sell that sort of thing. Actually a friend of my eldest is a book seller, I will suggest that to her (know her well, she visited and stayed here quite a few times before marrying).
Such books are part of an era, they need to be kept and displayed occasionally such as at a exhibition in a museum.
If people are keen of buying one for themselves there will be ways and means on the internet, it won't be illegal.
It's mentioned here:- https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/propaganda-and-children-during-the-hitler-years
