Edit: In fact, as it stands, it is meaningless. Longer since when? Who is we? What is the average.

For some reason this reminds me of an episode of Frasier I saw yesterday. The Crane men have all been dumped and they are in a bar. Frasier and Nile’s discuss going into deep therapy in order to sort out their problems with relationships. Marty gets them to sing the theme from Goldfinger with the bar pianist. They move from being reluctant little boys doing what their dad says to the freedom of enjoying something for its own sake and not giving a shit about what it is, what others might think, just as kids do.
