Beloved is an extraordinary book

It certainly is, I couldn't put it down.
I didn't realise Toni Morrison was 88, always imagined her as young.
She was one great writer.
Later: I never saw the film of 'Beloved', I believe Oprah Winfrey either produced or directed and acted in it. I hope I can find it online, I loved the book so much - must have been twenty years or thereabouts, ago, that I read it.
(Around the same time I read Marsha Hunt's 'Joy'; I would like to see a television or Netflix film of that, surprised it hasn't been done. There's another, unrelated, film called 'Joy' that was out three or four years ago)
