Good for him, it must be such a relief to finally be himself.
In the past so many gay people convinced themselves they were not gay, married and had children to prove it. No one has to do that now. As for treatment for gay people, when you think how badly people like Alan Turing were treated, it's heartbreaking and shameful.

except if you follow the transgender thread, there is support for the idea that lesbians can have penises. Too much of the dominant strain of Trans rights activism argues that conversion theory including medical treatment of teens is fine.

I suspect quite a lot of people who bang on about homosexuality being sinful and people needing to be cured of it, are gays in denial. I wonder if that guy Paul in the Bible was one of their number?
