………...there was verifiable evidence to prove beyond all shadow of doubt that god doesn't exist, how would the Christians on this forum react to that? I have asked this question before on this and other forums, but never had a proper answer to that question.

There cannot be such evidence, so it's a pointless question.

But, while we're asking pointless questions, let me ask you one: if there was verifiable evidence that proved beyond sll shadow of doubt that God DOES exist, how would YOU react?
But I repeat: it is intrinsically impossible to prove either the existence or the non-existence of God.

That is the pointless answer I usually get to that question. You don't know for a fact that there will never be such evidence. I was asking how people would react just supposing it was proved it didn't exist.
Start your own thread on how people would react if there was evidence a god exists.

It is not just that there is no conclusive proof for the non-existence of God now; there logically never can be, nor for God's existence. You might as well try to prove the existence of a square circle.

This isn't a valid question in the first place: it is just a rearrangement of the NPF, with an added dash of begging the question.

"NPF"?

"NPF"?
Negative Proof Fallacy.

Thanks.

Perhaps you could tell us what form such verifiable evidence might take.
