Amid all the turmoil, stress, pain and unfathomable mysteries in this world we live in, I wake up each morning with the joy of knowing that God is with us - in the profound words of John's gospel,
"In the beginning was the Word .... The Word became flesh and lived among us."
This is the essential message of Christmas, a truly great reason to rejoice!

Amen. "The Light shines in the darkness; but the darkness can never put it out"!

Again, amen.
All the forces of darkness cannot destroy what Yahuah has ordained ~ Isaiah 14:27

Amen from me too. I am so grateful for His continued presence.

Just attended a truly awesome candlelit advent service held in our local church just before sunrise. A wonderful reminder of Christ being the light of the world, and anticipation of the second coming.

Yes and Amen!
I'm gradually going through the various paraphrases available, and 'The Message' still nails the Message.
Light conquers all.
