Today we celebrate the great feast of All Saints. A welcome respite from the over commercialised, over hyped celebration of yesterday's hallowed eve. We are reminded that it is the feast of all saints - not just those beatified by the church. It is a celebration for all those who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. And a reminder that we are all called to be saints by accepting Jesus Christ into our lives as our Lord and Saviour.

You don't need a church to make a saint. The original meaning of the word - someone set apart by God - applies to all who accept Him.
