A fascinating, if ultimately depressing documentary about Narendra Modi:

This is the first part, the second part will be next Tuesday.
The similarities between his way of operating and a certain Donald across the water are unmistakeable. Set people against each other, discredit the press by constantly accusing them of spreading untruths. And on the evidence available he is not averse to getting opponents locked up or out of the way by other means.

I watched the documentary after you linked to it - it's sad that this is happening in so many countries around the world.
The state can just re-write the narrative and lock up people who disagree.
I felt similarly after watching the Fifth Estate about Julian Assange and Wikileaks
