Title: Is Britain a nation of porn addicts trapped in the algorithm?

Porn is one of the many things about internet usage and access that we have had to live with because legislation is much slower than technology.

I remember in the 1990's when I visited the UK a couple of times...every shop in every street corner had on the stands, magazines full of naked people, clearly visible to every passer by.

When I visited some years back these magazines were missing. Someone has clearly taken some action against such display of obscenity.

More to do with the fact that porn had moved on line rather than any legislation, I think.

As I owned a shop on a corner at that time I can attest to the fact that your asserion of "every" is incorrect.

Printed porn has become irrelevant.

There are various threads that you might raise that on, or you could start your own. On here it's a complete derail.

My local pornbroker, 'The Private Shop', closed down recently, no doubt due to the availability of internet porn. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Unlike with music with vinyl I doubt we will see a return of the older format.
