Very few fresh tomatoes available here in any supermarket or greengrocer, whether cherry size or large. The few that appear get snapped up in minutes.

There would probably be a shortage of turnips if we all did that. Apart from the fact that farmers probably didn't plant enough of them to satisfy a spike in demand, digging turnips out of bitterly cold windswept mega fields in East Anglia is exactly the kind of back breaking work that we used to employ Eastern Europeans to do.
