Title: Mark Cavendish to retire at end of season

Maybe not seen as big a star in UK Cycling as some but it's a fabulous career. If he could get that 35th stage win, it would be a brilliant finish.

I think a case can be made that he is one of Great Britain's* greatest sports people of all time.
