Ooh, stop it!

Joined by the one and only 30p Lee:

It's almost as if there is some kind of concerted push going on.

Standing room only in the gutter.

Maybe that's the problem: the Tories have forgotten that they are in charge of Britain.

We have to remember it was the 'left wing economic establishment' that brought down Liz Truss.
-
Anderson suspended. At least the Tories have done something, though don't see how Braverman can be allowed to stay if they are being consistent.

And still, the double standards apply.
The statement from the Tories implies that 30p Lee would not have been suspended had he apologised.
Two weeks ago, the Tories were demanding (rightly or wrongly) that Labour suspend Azhar Ali, despite his fulsome shit-eating apology.
-
I'd like to claim these as my own, but as I am not a Tory I can't brazenly lie about it:
Lee Anderson
Is
A Dense Loner
Liz Truss (full name Elizabeth)
gives
Haziest Bluster
A full 9 marks to Carol Vorderman.

So how long are we giving it before Lee jumps ship to Reform?
-
Lee Anderthal has been suspended for saying much the same, so when can we expect Cruella to get the chop?
-

Serial jumper

So it's just the 'Lee Anderson row' now? Braverman escaping?

Good old Reform - I wish them well at the election. The more votes they take from the Tories, the better! Nice to see the right splitting for a change!

If a Labour MP had used similar language about Jewish extremists then Sunak would be demanding Starmer called it out as anti semitic. Sunak is a lying hypocrite.

The 'explanation' is ludicrous. It's just good that the use of language is not a key area of his job.

'UK descending into mob rule, PM warns police' - Just wow! What an utterly disgraceful thing for the PM to say! He may even have sunk below Truss in my opinion.

He's just waking up to the fact that mob rule is taking over from rule of the mob.

To me it reads as an attemot to blame the poluce for any isdues with public order, a move to support Anderson, Braverman and Truss in their islamophobia, and conspiracy bollocks. In the run up to the Rochdale by election, it's not far off incitement.

Yes, I was being flippant, well partially flippant.
I agree he will use any dog whistle to hand just to cling on to power. Expect much, much more of the same in run up to GE.

I'm already experiencing these strange longings for Thatcher.
What a fucking shower.

I know what you mean but in this context I remember 'the enemy within', and it goes away.

There was that. I was thinking more along the lines that generally she was competent if somewhat malign.
Whereas, this lot are completely malign and completely incompetent.

Worth remembering that Simcox's previous role was with the Heritage foundation, the Trump supporting US think tank that has denied the results of the 2020 US election, denied climate change and campaigned to restrict access to voting.

'Attack victims hit out at extremism in open letter' - which is a misleading headline when the letter is then summed up as "More than 50 victims of Islamist-inspired terror attacks have signed a joint letter against what they describe as anti-Muslim hate.
They warn it is "irresponsible" for some politicians to equate extremists with "the vast majority of British Muslims who deplore such violence"."
