The film of the play The Motive and The Cue has opened in cinemas about the 1964 Broadway production of Hamlet with Richard Burton and John Gielgud. The production itself is available on YouTube, see second link.

I had that on videotape years ago. It was done in the actors' own clothes, and with minimal props. Polonius was played by Hume Cronyn - Mr Jessica Tandy. He was only middle-aged at the time, but was made up to look old. Burton over-acted outrageously.
