The last of the group marches in the first part of qualifying for the Women's 2025 Euros are just finishing. The guide to qualification and what happens next is below. It is not the simplest process.

Well done to San Marino. First time in a competitive match, I believe.

Both England scorers against Ireland yesterday.

Both England scorers against Ireland yesterday.
I fully understand why, if you are qualified for England and Ireland and you believed you were good enough for the former, why you would choose England.

Of course. I just found it a bit funny that both players happened to score in the same match against the country they both represented when they were younger.

Klopp takes on Red Bull role. Presumably on a huge salary but less of the day to day madness of being a club manager. Not sure how I would feel about it if I were a manager of one of the Red Bull teams.

I'm more concerned about the fact that Red Bull controls several teams in Europe.

Surprised that that was the starting line up, rather than something that was used as an experiment in second half. Not sure that Carsley has much credit in the bank now.

Be careful what you wish for is the maxim of the day. England fans were on Southgate's case for years about his unimaginative selections, but when his successor choses a radically attacking side and it all goes tits up, they are still not happy.
Still, at least it was only Nations League.

Seems like a decent punt. Extends the run of non English official managers at Man Utd - last one was Ron Atkinson in 1986.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/ckgrrpm0vp8t
If they win their last match against Club Brugge who are only three points ahead of them, they will probably make the play off stage. Anything less, and they are gone. So yes, they could fail to get out of the League stage.
