Wouldn't have thought so to be honest!!

Pragmatically sensible, but I imagine Starmer will have a pretty similar opinion of Trump as most people here.

I gather Lammy was there too - that might have been a touch awkward.

No he didn't meet Harris - not because he didn't want to, but because 'dairies wouldn't allow'.

Realistically it is a good idea for a UK PM to meet both candidates in the run up to a US election as they will need to work closely with whoever wins.
