Title: Return of the Jedi rating changed over violence

Interesting how the perceptions of what's acceptable change over time. None of the changes to classifications strike me as odd, and I was slightly surprised that RoTJ and Black Narcissus were U.

You learn something new everyday. Not that I ever thought about it but I would have assumed it had always been PG. I remember going to see it with my mum and brother when it was released. I would have been 7 or 8 at the time.

I'm with you I hadn't thought about it either but had assumed it would be PG.
