Not sure whether police action was justified, but certainly calling people, without evidence, jew-haters does seem pretty incendiary particular in the currently political times.
But there is another point - she must be a particularly shit journalist not to realise that the picture in question was taken in Manchester, not London and therefore her condemnation of the Met police is clearly irrelevant. And that the demonstrators were demonstrating in support of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party and therefore unlikely to have any relevance to the Israel/Gaza situation whatsoever. I thought journalists were supposed to carefully check their sources, but hey easy error to mistake the Tehreek-e-Insaf flag for the Palestinian one ... and err, the Manchester Police's uniform for the Met uniform!!! :o
