i particularly enjoyed 'Deaf Sentence', since I too experienced much of what the lead character in the novel experiences as his hearing declines.

I wonder if the BBC will repeat their adaptation of Nice Work. Sadly not only Lodge but the two leads Warren Clarke and Haydn Gwynne are now dead
