Hi everyone,
Here is an article about Light being transformed into a solid state material.

Very interesting that light can be transformed into solids. Energy to matter.
Maybe the universe arose from light.
Cheers.

Looks interesting but a frustrating lack of technical detail. However, it doesn't look like light has magically been transformed into a solid.

No. Despite the pop-science nonsense, light is not energy. Light has energy. Energy isn't 'stuff', it is always a property.
Maybe the universe arose from light.
Maybe not. At present we think that light didn't exist before electroweak symmetry breaking, about 10⁻¹² secomds after the big bang.

Excuse me. Who’s this we and how are you qualified to be one of them?

I mean that is the current model used by cosmologists. At electroweak symmetry breaking, photons (light) first become distinct from W and Z bosons.

Humanity
and how are you qualified to be one of them?
By inheritance. Like sin, but real.

I'm not relevant, usually. My arguments stand or fall on their own merits, not on my merits (or lack of them).

You knew I was asking him whether he meant physicists and that he was one and you just wanted to be 'clever'.

And you knew that whether or not he has a background in physics doesn't change the findings of the study that he linked, but you thought you'd be clever and pretend that somehow the latest findings of science are only the purview of 'scientists' and not the farthest reach of humanity in general, but hey-ho.

He linked it after I had asked him the question. He didn’t give how he’s qualified, but that’s OK.
