Nope, if they honestly believe he went then they are not lying. They may be foolish, they may be basing their conclusion on insufficient evidence but they would not be lying.

If someone states as a fact that God and Heaven do not exist then they do, of course, need to support that with evidence, just as those who claim God and Heaven exist need to do. Most atheists don't state there definitely is no God but say that they have no belief in God and see no evidence for one. This position requires no evidence in itself. A believer can just as well say they have faith and leave it at that and then no evidence is required but soon as claims are made of evidence for something or that something is a fact then that is different.

The thing about the film that makes me reject its content is that, in essense, it is nothing more than a very elaborate advertisement for books and artworks and, like all such adverts, is spun in such a way as to extort money from the faikthful regardless of the use to which said money is put.

There is no information given as to what percentage of the income actually goes to the charity/charities from a "fine art print" that costs $100.00 and an oil that costs $150.00 and experience of other such salers for charity, especially in the U S, would suggest that the proceeds to the charity/charities is probably minimal.

How come there has never, never been at any time been something like a big media event, with press headlines like,"Absolute Proof that God Exists"; why, because there isn't any credible evidence.
