I had a scam call people should be aware of, someone rang saying they were my service provider. They went on to say they were going to cut my telephone bill because I was a low user and a senior citizen. The fact they knew this put me off my guard. But they started asking me details that they would have had if they were my service provider and I figured they were trying to switch me to another telephone company by miss representing themselves. I told them I did not want to change my account, and put the phone down. My subsequent bills have not been reduced.
