Well, depending on whose interpretation of Islam you are using, there are many views about what should be done - ranging from nothing to being convicted of lewdness, and lewdness isn't defined in the Quran so it is open to interpretation as to which behaviours come within the definition of lewdness.

Just to clarify - you think it is cherry-picking to not have an opinion on someone else's behaviour? I don't have an opinion on someone else drinking, someone else having sex outside marriage, in fact I take the 'none of my business' approach to lots of things other people do that does not affect me and does not hurt other people. If that's nasty of me - fine with me.

I'm of exactly the same 'persuasion' too. Uh Oh grey area ?!!?? LOL

I'd certainly be interested where Islam say at some point, well, being gay is OK if you do it within certain borders BUT..... can't seem to find it !!!

Not surprisingly I have more important things to talk about so no, I don't talk about my friends' sexuality, other than to inform others when necessary that they are in a relationship.

Interesting that you spout your beliefs about Islamic duty like they are facts, rather than your individual interpretation. Makes your whole argument very hypocritical since you object to other people's beliefs in the truth of their interpretations.
