As an outsider and quite a fan of the Scottish people that I've met, never been there, the only comment I will make Is that I can and have been able to understand any Scot that comes from Edinburgh and not in every case, but the Scots I have difficulty understanding invariably come from Glasgow.

I can't quite remember which town but one of the two seems to have people that are much better looking on average, than the other.

Having been to both places, I think that they are equally interesting; OK, differently interesting, but still equally so.
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Lists of what is needed and a search engine to find your nearest collector (scroll to bottom for latter) are here:  http://www.twam.uk/donate-tools

When I lived in Elderslie, Calum Kennedy used to live just up the road from me.

I've kept that quiet for years but I couldn't hold it in any longer.
