I bet they threatened them with something else though, or if they couldn't give voice to such things, they would have done something dominant and nasty.   There are 'types' of people, each of is a 'type'.
Close knit organisations nurture 'types'.
Let us profit by what every day and hour teaches us

It would appear it was definitely the religion that changed them, they didn't threaten folk with hell-fire until they converted!
The point is that you don't know if becoming Christian caused them to become unpleasant or becoming unpleasant caused them to become a Christian or some third unknown issue caused them to convert and also become a Christian.

We know for a fact you feel you're better than all NON-Christians on here &, most probably most if not ALL Christians here too. Otherwise you wouldn't say what you say in the WAY you say it. FACT!!

What would Jesus have said about YOUR attitude on these boards.
Don't confuse confidence with arrogance, please !! ;) ::)

What illogical and untrue belief can you stand your comment on?  You see the truth is trippy, you are trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear with that argument.
The fact is that NOTHING I wrote can give claim to such a statement as We know for a fact you feel you're better than all NON-Christians on here as no such fact or evidence exists to support that, it must be your nature that you want to make me look bad by suggesting something which you know to be untrue bit somehow you think will help win your argument by putting me into a bad light before others.
It simply cannot be done because in truth there is no way to officially show how anyone could be better than anyone else simply because of their beliefs. For you to make that statement you have to belief that Christians are better than non Christians in some way, shape or form. So what evidence is there to suggest a Christian is better than a non Christian?

YOU, go one better and say probably all Christians too.
So what is it that you would base that on? What is there by evidence that would say a Christian better than a non Christian?
You would have been better to remain silent than let everyone know you have no evidence to base such a claim on.
Worse still.... There is nothing in what I say to support your claim.
Ever thought your chosen nature is leading you up the wrong path. Your choice and proof you do choose what you believe even when their is nothing to justify that belief but what you choose to make of it.

He would say I speak with the truth always in my mind and heart.
That I have confidence in Gods words and promises and not in any self deluding or arrogant thoughts of man as you have shown.
That I can speak my true feelings openly and honestly because it is the truth I follow not my own heart, unlike yourself who has shown when you have no answer you make up lies about Christians.

Christ is the true value of the Christian religion. He spoke Gods words and he made plain the way we can all know God.
A life in all it's fullness. I seek that way because I believe as human beings we all need GOD to be in our lives and to show us the right way to treat others.

I guess your way shows the difference. That we love others because God loves us. We love from the heart we really are not interested in being friends for the sake of what others think of us.
Being a believer is a difficult path. Look at the abuse we get on here and anywhere where people do not accept Christ.
What do you think being treated that way would give anyone a superior attitude complex? If the word says all have sinned would be hard to find anyone perfect but Christ in God.

Truth is sometimes some of us realise who would be without God. Doesn't bear thinking about.
But I do believe Jesus is the Son of God and I believe in God the Father Almighty. Being the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus should tell you we do not count ourselves better than anyone else.
We know we have to work together to abolish war and terrorism to create a compassionate  world in which Justice and peace prevail. Love ;D   Einstein

Even if you had a gun to your head? Wouldn't you fake it?
