This question has been asked so many times, but has never had a satisfactory or credible answer. If the deeds attributed to the Biblical god have any credibility how on earth can it be described as loving and merciful? A god which won't make its presence beyond dispute, but would damn people to hell for unbelief, is worse than Satan who is supposedly bad, but has no actual misdeeds attributed to it.
What is loving and merciful about god?
You could also ask what is loving and merciful about ckhlOyluhrszntd and it would be equally as rational a thing to ask.
