While I have often had a lunchtime drink, I agree with this

Good idea, other firms should do the same. Alcohol during the working day is not conducive to employees being on top of their game, imo.

Given the impact of alcohol on the disciplinary findings atbLloyd's I think the argument is pretty strong against work day drinking.

As I remember lunch time drinking was a city thing, not a small town thing. It was acceptable to go for a lunchtime drink on somebody's birthday.

What can I say? My generation are now running the show, and what a bunch of prigs we are turning out to be.
