This is a bit of a dilemma. To make a fair comment on this review, I'd have to go and see the film, but the review effectively says "don't see the film".

To be honest, I lost patience with the franchise when I found out that all the survivors from Aliens except Ripley were gratuitously killed off at or before the start of Alien 3. The first two films in the franchise are the only ones I have seen.

Unscathed apparently. When Ripley makes the decision to return to the scene of her distress in "Aliens", she fondly curses him saying, "And you, you little shit-head, you are staying here"...
