I never see much about Clarkson these days. Have we seen his greatest work.

I think he is ghastly man; if he ceases to be as far as his work for the media is concerned that would be all to the good.

Indeed.

On the other kettle of fish, at least McIntyre is only crap (seems a decent enough chap otherwise), rather than crap and an arrogant violent bully with his gut hanging over his dad jeans as well.

He's doing Top Gear on Amazon Prime.  Also writes a newspaper column which I've read at someone else's house occasionally.

He was the presenter of one of the BBC's most popular TV programmes for many years. It would be pretty churlish to suggest that Top Gear was not good television, even with some great moments in it. And his piece advocating Brunel as the "Greatest Briton" was a brilliantly crafted piece of propaganda.
