Agree with Robbie. There isn't a case of herd immunity here so the arguments are different. Were there to be an outbreak of a highly communicable and deadly strain, then the argument might change.

But ordinary flu is highly communicable and can kill those who are vulnerable if they catch it from another person.

But because there are many strains you don't have the benefit of herd immunity.
