There is indeed a lot of nostalgia in this - especially the TV shows (even ignoring the non-UK ones). For example - I'd totally forgotten this one until seeing this entry: it was probably awful but I do vaguely remember the drawings.

I remember them from their appearance in Blue Peter annuals as mentioned on the page.
