I remember its last perihelion, in 1986. Big disappointment - it wasn't visible to the naked eye. The only comet I've seen was Hale-Bopp, which was clearly visible low in the North-Eastern sky for a week or two in the early morning in 1997.
When politicians talk about making tough decisions, they mean tough for us, not for them.

We should be treated to "a spectacular close-up in 2061"  Damn, pretty sure I will be stone dead by then  >:(

No doubt SfG will still be going strong, however
