Apparently the rats weren’t very skilled at first and the vehicles returned with roDENTS in them.

I was born and dragged up in the London area, (Wood Green), not Woodford Green and have now lived out in wildest Essex for more than fifty years, and one of the words that seems more in common with the locals out here, than it was in London at the time I lived there, is 'ratarsed' when they're annoyed or just generally feeling bad tempered, perhaps this could apply here too.

Whenever I have heard the term "ratarsed", it has usually meant the less than pleasant consequences of consuming more alcohol that is wise.
