Winter Solstice 2020 greetings!
« on: December 20, 2020, 03:11:10 AM »

To anyone who may be in the least bit interested and who doesn't read the Pagan Topic!

May I offer to all the very best wished for the Winter Solstice tomorrow in the hope of a reduction in new infections and of deaths from Covid 19 as companions to the New Year!

It was interesting to hear the number of people in Iceland bemoaning the imposition of Tier 4 restrictions who were not wearing masks!

Bright Blessings, Love and Light and may the Old Ones watch over you and yours always!

The Holy Bible, probably the most diabolical work of fiction ever to be visited upon mankind.

An it harm none, do what you will; an it harm some, do what you must!

I'm going to, both my son and my older daughter have sent me bottles of Moniak and my younger daughter, who is also my carer, has got permission from the Council to come over and have dinner with me. Her husband is a chef and he's cooking!

Almost like Christmas innit?

That's excellent, that you will have company. I'm afraid that I won't see my mother this Christmas. It's not usually a time I
see her because often away at Christmas but this year will be harder. Seen her twice in 9 months.

And yep  it does sound like Christmas but then perhaps the secularisation of Christmas is the most successful cultural appropriation of the winter rituals.
