I’ve never watched it or really have any idea what it is about but I took the test and got somebody called Sister Michael. No idea what that means.

Watched it, and enjoyed it: I too am Sister Michael (possible all middle-aged men are Sister Michael at heart).

Series 3, which will be the final series, starts tonight - 9.15pm on Channel 4.

Looking forward to it.

I have never seen any episode of this - so I might see watch I can find on Channel 4's catch-up service.

One thing that caught my eye the other day, however, was (I think) a newspaper headline which claimed that had it been a private company (as the Johnson "government" is proposing) Channel 4 would never have made Derry Girls.  Is this a realistic statement?

I don't know about "Derry Girls" but C4 was the only channel that would touch the AIDS drama "It's A Sin". RT Davies couldn't get BBC or ITV to develop it. So from the pov of it doing stuff other channels won't, then it is a realistic statement. (I've not seen Derry Girls so don't know whether it falls into that category).
