In general, the Scottish Govt has managed to avoid much opprobrium on council's cutbacks so far, will be interesting to see if latest cuts change that.
For info the large gap in Glasgow City Council's budget is in part related to still paying for the sex pay gap that was happened under the Labour council, and led to court fights.
