This is a good essay, if a bit partial imo, about why Kant is important in philosophy. As a Humean, that's probably not that a surprising view from me, but I would suggest, and in this I think I agree with the tone of the essay, rather than it's thesis, that you need to take Hume and Kant as a duality. Their approaches suggest the Dionysian and Apollonian, and to understand must be taken together.
