To be fair to the lying mountebank (Johnson), he has many positive visions for his bank balance.

We live in hope.
I once tried using "chicken" as a password, but was told it must contain a capital so I tried "chickenkiev"
On another occasion, I tried "beefstew", but was told it wasn't stroganoff.

Far better to get Johnson back and have them careen randomly at high speed towards defeat rather than drifting under Sunak...  ::)

Of course, it's Boris Johnson, so I'm going to go check the polls to see if he's accidentally told the truth this time.

The problem was, of course, according to Johnson that there was some idiot as PM who appointed Sunak as Chancellor who then allowed him to make lots of useless decisions.

"Drifting to defeat" seems to be an understatement; it looks more like "plummeting to oblivion".

I still think it's an improvement (from the Tory pov) over what would have happened if Johnson had remained in charge.
