Poor Descartes - a philosophical review of Poor Things

It's odd reading a review of the film that approaches it as it it sprung Athena like from Yorgos Lanthimos's head, and isn't based on the book by Alasdair Gray. It's a book where Gray's usual influences are clear, and I would argue comes from a person with a belief in Caledonian Antisyzygy
